Time Flies. Again.

Can someone tell me why all this Time Flies gear is popping up on ebay lately? Seems weird. Are they suddenly super popular now? I don’t recall them having a diehard fanbase back in the day, but I’m sure they must have ruled Virginia. You have to remember, this was WAY before DTN, Swamp Thing, … Solid looking hood. IF, if it wasn’t navy. Ugh, navy. Grab this one from anthracite_records.

Time Flies tour shirt

I need to get Bob Shedd in on this post with me so we can get all teary eyed about Time Flies. Maybe we can give him an hour off from comic noize to drop in on this one. Time Flies were posi, and this shirt is yellow. Can’t get any more crucial than that my friends.

Too late for what?

Be sure to check out mazzo29‘s other auctions for some sharp vintage skate shirts and a SWEET LeBron James bucket hat. Get into it.

No Justice poster

Final poster for the day. No Justice fronted by singer Timmy Bladecrasher. One of my all time favorite stagedivers. He has no concern for his own safety nor the safety of others. Never malicious in his diving just crazy. There is a vid floating around of him giving Morrissey a kiss on the cheek before diving off stage. No Justice shows were legendary especially the last show

Peep the kiss at around 2:50 —> http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2i6qp_morrissey-how-soon-is-now

Time Flies Crew Hood

Time Flies.

Truth.

Time Flies even flew under the radar. They were from a lonely part of the country. Not Boston, not NYC, not Cali, not even DC. They also broke onto the scene AFTER the big 90s youth crew revival but BEFORE the early 2k American Nightmare/ Carry On days. Which stinks because they were always a great band.

January ** 1999 @Club 198 Providence RI: Capture The Flag, Camera Obscura, Time Flies, Ten Yard Fight, Piebald

Great gig. I can’t even recall what the fuck that 198 Club was. Also, that’s the SD Camera Obscura, not the more recent indie rock band. Capture The Flag. New Bedford!

Great looking hood, no doubt. It’s got all the essentials. Throw in the limited “CREW” screen and the mint condition, and you have a gold mine.

Also, Kurt Powers (lead singer of Time Flies) is looking for a navy blue Chain Of Strength True Till Death tee (feelin it). If you have one in a medium, hit him up.

Down To Nothing Week?

Why are there so many Down To Nothing items on ebay currently?

It blows my mind.

Great band, chill dudes.

They were selling this shirt when I saw them at this weirdo show in New Hampshire.

March 03, 2007 @ VFW, Nashua NH: The Geeks, Ambitions, Down To Nothing, Have Heart, Bane

Very odd turnout to this gig. No stage but tons of fun.
