Gorilla Biscuits wallet

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this before, but it makes sense (cents?!) that Paul Frank teamed up with Gorilla Biscuits. If I didn’t know that andevolution got this on a Euro tour, I would have thought that someone picked it up at a Newbury Comics. The seller actually cleaned it up too, so take a look at the auction its much brighter. You can wear these with your Gorilla Biscuits Vans.

THIS IS NOT MADE OF LEATHER!

GB for your feet

Out of the two Gorilla Biscuits vans the Hi-sk8 ones are the best, the slip ons are so snoozeworthy and I’m not a huge fan of mens slip on shoes anyway. These came out last spring and I haven’t seen a pair in real life or a picture of anyone wearing them. Seller dissent12047 just had them stashed away so maybe thats what everyone else is doing too. The blue along the bottom really makes the shoe in my opinion, without it I think I would have hated these.

Gorilla Biscuit X Vans Slip Ons

How do people feel about these Gorilla Biscuits x Vans Slip Ons? Personally, if they didn’t feature an embroidered GB on the heel, they’d look pretty boring. And as it is, the embroidery doesn’t spice it up that much, even with the mint midsoles. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a solid Vans sneaker. Give me a classic white era, or some intense sk8-hi, but this slip on leaves me flat. PS. if you have small feet or giant feet, you can pick these up from Vans. The two below are 9 & 9.5 mens. I’d consider that little foot. PPS. Props for being vegan-friendly sneakers.

Monday Night BIN.

We’ll be seeing a bunch of posts from me showcasing hottdogg9000′s auctions through out the day tomorrow, but I wanted to end my day the way it began: Casali style. And that means BIN’s.

$15 seems a little high for a B9 Schism shirt (especially when you factor in having to have it shipped from Finland), but it’s not like there’s going to be a bidding war on it so you could probably just wait and do a last minute bid and try to win it at the $4.99 start price. I’m just eh on the Suicidal/Vans collab, but man dig that TP hoodie. White strings on a dark color hoodie or zip up is such a chill look. Especially with the white in the lettering. I don’t know if those white strings are because someone at some point had to put a new drawstring in it, but I really don’t care. It’s a look I love.

Vans – NYHC Tee

WWRBS?

Good question.

Especially for a brand with roots in Cali, not LES or NY or even the Tri-State area.

Also, WWRBS could be RayBeez or RatBones. Both people I would like to hear weigh in on this tee.

Shark Attack – Blood In The Water Custom Vans

Customizing Vans Slip Ons isn’t a new game. Hell, Vans was one of the first brands that allowed customers the option to pick ANY fabric they wanted. In fact, I think I recall hearing a story from an Up Front guy about how he brought a carpet sample to the Vans Factory and had them made into sneakers. Now that’s legit.

But this here is a little different. This took artistry and a little paint magic to accomplish. If you compare the sneakers and the album cover, you’ll see how spot on the customization is (minus the red color. The sneaker red is a little BRIGHT for blood, but then again, it could just be a bad photo). Good for this artist. Sadly, the auction doesn’t say WHO painted them. But if you love Shark Attack*, you should pick these up. And if they aren’t your size, just stuff some extra sock down into the toes.

* if you don’t love Shark Attack, you probably have a few screws loose.
