Up Front Tour shirt

Try as I might, I could never ever get into Up Front. I have tried to give Spirit a re-listen several times over the years, but I just can’t/won’t do it. That’s not to say that this shirt for sale by xdiethiswayx is not crucial, because it is. In fact, this shirt is the one thing I like most about this band. I know there are many of you who do enjoy Up Front, and I have no problem with that…IT’S YOUR CHOICEEEEEEEE!

Up Front Reunion Tee

Our buddy Jay made this shirt for the Up Front reunion. He was channeling the Spirit cover for this one. You can actually read all about what the design on his blog. It’s a good read. Sadly, this shirt looks … not good. I can’t tell if it’s the pictures or the red shirt, black ink combo. Everything looks super washed out. Anyone have a white one? I bet it works better on white. The front is basically indecipherable. Weird.

Ending Soon – Up Front

With just a few hours to go, someone is going to get one hell of a deal. Not sure how these items from iox10 slipped through the cracks for so long. Granted, they are later era Up Front merch, but still. A 97 tour hood and a chill longsleeve. Does the sleeve also say “Up Front?” I forget. I bet you could score both shipped for $30. Press your luck, do it.

Does anyone like to read anymore?

There are quite a few zines on Ebay at the moment, and it makes me kinda sad to see them lingering around with little or no action. I know there are a core group of you that collect and cherish these things, so I figured I would bring these to your attention. Someone snag these up, and at the minimum put these in your bathroom for toilet reading material.

Up Front Spirit Tour 1986 shirt

Seller ironic_iconic has this pretty minty looking Up Front Spirit Tour 1989 shirt ending today. I wanted to show you this because the price is already higher than Up Front shirts tend to go. Hopefully it is not because of the sellers typo of 86 instead of 89. If this was one of those shirts you were planning to build your collection around, I don’t think you will find a nicer example.

ONE SHIRT-Jeff Terranova

Our latest installment of the One Shirt series is brought to you by Up Front’s Jeff Terranova. We hope you enjoy!

“This was a tough one, but I would have to go with the Uniform Choice “Use Your Head” 4 sided Wishingwell Records shirt.

Growing up and going to shows on the east coast, it was pretty easy for me to get my hands on t-shirts by all of the east coast bands. I remember seeing the UC Wishingwell shirts and being blown away by them and needed to find a way to get my hands on them. Long before Up Front had the opportunity to travel the US and meet people and trade t-shirts, Jon Up Front and myself both decided to mail order direct from Wishingwell Records. We had been seeing their ads in tons of zines and we both owned the UC “Screaming For Change” LP, so we felt confident that they were legit. We both ordered one Straight and Alert and one Use Your Head t-shirt around the same time. After a few weeks of excitement waiting for the shirts to arrive, a month passed, then two, then three and we were both getting pretty bummed out at this point and figured the shirts would never arrive. I honestly cannot remember exactly how long it took, but Jon’s shirt arrived via UPS, which was weird for me because at that point of my life I was used to being excited about the mailman, so now my focus was on a brown truck pulling into the driveway. I waited anxiously every day and looked out my bedroom window anytime I thought I heard a vehicle in the driveway. Then one day when I was least expecting it, that magical brown truck pulled into the driveway and I ran to the door and signed for a box of vitamins for my mom, what a let down. A few more weeks passed and I started thinking that maybe my order was lost and my shirts were never going to arrive, I pretty much gave up all hope. Then one day I came home and my mom had left a package for me in my room and I couldn’t believe it, they had arrived! I opened the envelope and all I could smell was brand new screen printed t-shirts and man was I psyched!

I have sold the majority of my t-shirts over the years, including the UC “Straight and Alert” and other UC/Unity/Wishingwell shirts that I acquired, but I just cannot part with my Use Your Head shirt… there is something about that shirt design that is amazing to me!

Schism-Era?

Forgive me for nitpicking, but where is freedumbmouse going with this ebay title?

Up Front Schism-era straight edge hardcore t shirt

Schism Era? He later describes the tshirt correctly as a reprint. 20 years later, there is nothing schism era about this tee. It isn’t even Tool Schism Era.

Up Front boot?

Never seen this colorway before. There is no tag on the shirt either. When a seller states “as far as I know is original (not bootleg)” I get a bit sketched out. Jeff Terranova submitted a pretty complete list of Up Front shirts to HYE.com and this wasnt on the list. So its up to you to decide with your wallets.

Up Front New Age ls

Not my favorite Upfront record but a nice 4-sided longsleeve. You really cant go wrong with any 4-sided shirt. That “Up front” sleeve print is pretty crucial looking. Interested to see how much this one will end for.
