I really like these shorts atlxlifer has for sale. The design was drawn by Marina Inoue and it’s one of my favorites. Shorts always seem to be a good selling item during fest season, atlxlifer picked these up at United Blood fest this year. He also has a few other pairs of shorts for sale if you want to check them up and stock up.

I wasn’t at the gig either, but if I grab this tshirt from ape-tar, I can pretend I was there. This year’s United Blood Fest is coming up. We’re trying to line some stuff up now for that fest. We’ll let you know, and hope to see you there.

Terrible Towel

Actually, this is the opposite of a terrible towel. First, Trapped Under Ice is awesome, unlike the Pittsburgh Steelers and their lowlife QB. How are those games off treating him? You don’t see Trapped Under Ice warming the bench. Fuck no. Secondly, this towel isn’t for swinging over your head while watching the Steelers lose another game. And don’t come at me with their current 3-1 record. Their 2010 schedule is against the weakest of the NFL. This TUI towel would be good for swinging over head while moshing hard and stage diving. Good move, you know. Also, you could probably dry your hair with it. Just saying. Whatever you do with it, bgmcgee would appreciate your bid. No doubt.

Trapped Under Ice United Blood shirt

There has been quite a bit of 2010 fest merch up for sale this summer, but here is one that brings us back to 2009. Trapped Under Ice United Blood 2009 shirt. This one flips the script on the basic hardcore shirt formula with the live shot on the front instead of the back. The front graphic is JUMBO sized and might look a little afflictiony on, but I do like the blood red color used.

This shirt is a rip off of a rip off of a rip off. It’s almost a meta rip off design. Yeah, some next level, math nerd shit. We’ll have to get Klint to unravel the mechanics of it all.

This is another Mongoloids shirt, of course! They sold these at United Blood Fest 2008.

United Blood Fest 2010 is literally just around the corner. I hope you got your tickets already.

COA – Virginia Is For Lovers Tee

Virginia is for Lovers. I never quite got that. I’ve been to Virginia. I don’t recall anything especially romantic about it. Arlington isn’t filled with love and beauty. It was nice, but it wasn’t romantic like Niagara Falls, which according to a decrepit sign on the way in is “the honeymoon capital of the World.” Yeah, uh huh.

Boston is for Fighters. Possibly, I suppose. I haven’t seen any fights at shows in a few years (which is a GOOD thing). I can see where COA was going with this tee though. Not ironic as much as sardonic.

Big fan of the back print. The spacing and lettering are super tight. And the placement makes me think of MMA/Boxing gear (I’m sure that was the point). Only sold at the United Blood Fest in 2008 (held in Virginia, home of lovers). Good call.
