Oh who am I kidding. There’s no way in hell this original 3 sided Uniform Choice tee stays as low as it has been through out it’s run. When it comes down to the wire, this one is gonna jump no matter what, which means it’s gonna be out of my price range fast. So I may as well eat my sour grapes and blow up some spots to get the taste out…

Legion of Rice

People keep telling me that later era Uniform Choice grows on you. I dont know Im just not feeling it. Ive tried giving “staring into the sun” a whirl or two but im just not that musically advanced yet. As far as UC merch goes I think this one is right up there with the actual record in terms of coolness. ie. not every. But who knows, if Burn “cleanse” could grow on me(I really like that record now) then maybe there is hope for this record too?!?

Uniform Choice A Wish To Dream shirt

Seller newcopcar has listed this Uniform Choice “Wish To Dream” shirt. I’ll let the seller explain why he doesn’t know if it’s original or not. What I will say is that this could be a nice scoop if you were looking for one of these to wear daily.

The seller states

“You are bidding on a UNIFORM CHOICE t-shirt. I’ve had this baby for awhile (as you can tell from the pit stains; try some Oxyclean!), but I honestly can’t tell you if this is a legit one or a boot. I can tell you it’s old; it has that feel of those 50%/50% Screen Stars shirts from the late ’80s/early ’90s. Not that that helps in deciding whether this is legit or a boot, but it might help date it. Sadly, no sleeveprints. Boo. To complicate things even more, the tag has been removed. Again, boo. The shirt measures about 20″ from armpit to armpit and about 21″ from collar to hem. Usual wear, some fading and cracking to the screen as is visible, but nothing too offensive except for those pesky pit stains. Lil bit o’ Oxyclean fix you right up, kid! Again, don’t mean to sound like a sketchy seller who is deliberately evasive and vague, but I do know that this shirt is old (not one of those recent Italian bootlegs or something someone’s selling on their Big Cartel page), but I don’t know if it’s a legit shirt from the band or Wishingwell.”

Blue-niform Choice (OUCH).

Seller drewtilldeath1986′s Uniform Choice tee is a boot, but it’s a boot I can get behind. Not only does it look well done, but it’s got the blue UC action going on, and not only does it make the tee look great, but I happen to love a good ol red white and blue color way. If yesterday hadn’t been Metal Monday, I would have posted this up for Memorial Day…

This Uniform Choice shirt is on some Casali type shit. I bet he is cursing kittygas for cutting it all up back in the day. This shirt is from later era Uniform Choice but it still looks quite pos. Youd probably still even look posi with long hair in this. Actually Morgodo should be buying this for lifting at the gym. Good muscle tee

Coupla bangers from my pal incorrectthoughts down in the LV…

This might be my favorite Bad Brains design, too bad this thing is a little chewed. I remember at the WFMU record fair one year, Anthony Countey (Bad Brains manager) was there with about 10 post office bins jammed full of old BB shirts, and he had a few of these. Asking price? $20 a pop or 2 for $30. For some reason I chose to grab a couple of different Quickness era designs, as I was tight on funds. Oops.

Always wondered what that shadowy character was wishing/dreaming in regards to that tree… is he gonna cut it down? Is he gonna climb it? It’s deep, really.

UC OG?

Seller goodxgoodxthings says this is an OG Uniform Choice tee, but unfortunately he has no tag to back this up. He’s going by feel…

It sadly has no tag, but it feels like a screen stars shirt, but if you ever had a screen stars shirt, you don’t need a tag to prove this.

For what it’s worth tho, he also says that this has the Quintana signature, so make your own judgement as best you can.

Some Prints For Your Wall.

We saw some of these prints of old flyers like the ones goodxgoodxthings is selling before, and I seem to recall they ended up doing pretty good.

The one we didn’t see before was the UC design, which while still cool doesn’t work as well for me off of the shirt. I’m sticking with the AF and Judge ones as my choices for best in show.
