Bane Lot: 2003-2005

chevy_independent has a nice little snapshot of the mid 2Ks. During this time period, Bane was a touring machine. They were everywhere. Full US tours, Europe, Japan, … all over the place. Then they hit the studio to record The Note. Busy times, for sure. 6 tshirts and 2 hoods. Not bad. Someone popped the opening bid of $50, but that F*CK YEAH hood usually sells for quite a bit on its own. I’m real curious to see where this one ends. I won’t fight you for this one – I already own one of each of those ;)

louiebones is selling a Metal Monday favorite. Classic 80′s hatred, got to love it. I think Rick Perry should make these shirts for his campaign. I would buy one.

I’m not sure if this is a boot or not but it looks like a cool shirt to me. That has to be one of the best lineups I’ve seen on a shirt. Well maybe not Queensryche. I guess I should ask roseandbombif it’s legit or not.

SICK OF IT ALL 1992 TOUR SHIRT

One of the most admiring qualities about SOIA is that no matter how long they’ve been around they always give it their all. They could be playing huge fest overseas or just some small show in New Brunswick NJ at the Court Tavern. But they always play at 110%. frosthammer72 is selling an older European tour shirt. This is a great shirt to pick up. Bid is really low right now, don’t sleep.

Tye Dye Descendents Winter Tour 86 shirt

At first glance of this Descendents shirt for sale by nunkinnog2, I was thinking “NICE”. As I scrolled through the pics I was a little disappointed. I’m thinking that this one should be bleach tye dyed. It’s already ruined in it’s current state, you might as well make it a one of a kind beach shirt. I bet you could snap this one up on the relatively cheap side, make it look cool with a little tye dye job and re list for profit. Yeah, that’s what I think. I need more coffee.

Mental Eu 04

I don’t know if I’m prepared to claim this Mental shirt as my favorite Mental shirt of all time, but it’s definitely in the top 3. Orange tee with white ink is a win any day of the week. Throw in a simple clip art and crucial font. Another win from me. Pretty sure I saw a kid wearing a “Bath Youth Basketball” tee that looked EXACTLY like this, which is why it’s perfect. And the “Be True To Your School” on the back makes it a “shut it the fuck down” shirt. If xtrueforcex was selling a size large, I’d be bidding right now (and not posting it for you heathens to find, of course).

American Nightmare Winter Tour 2000

As far as American Nightmare merch goes, this has to be one of my favorite tshirts. Something about the straight edge razor on the front is appealing to me. Plus, it lacks the typical weirdo gore most AN shirts seem to have. It was only a two week tour, but it went far and wide. Albany, Philly, … Santa Cruz? That’s quite the haul. Pretty sure they took a few days off for Christmas. Hopefully in Vegas. The seller is a good dude. You may know him. He’s theclevo. I don’t think he ever played bass for AN. But it’s possible he filled in for a gig or maybe even a song or two. Remember when JSH was in AN? Good times.

Tour It All

One band I don’t listen to enough is All. Not sure why, they just don’t come up often on my playlists. I think I have all their albums, and I do enjoy that style. I just don’t think to listen to them. I’m sure Jaybil and michielwalrave would be saddened by that statement. I’ve obviously never seen them live, but all that could change. They’re touring again (or is it the Descendents?). Now could be my time. Of course, it probably would have been cooler to see them on their 1990 or 1993 tours. Check these tees for the dates. I should have been there. And here’s a video from what I assume is their October 6, 1990 gig.

Gorilla Biscuits In Your Head

When I initially saw this tshirt from michielwalrave, I thought it was a recent tour shirt. The giant gorilla head threw me. It’s quite the close up, you know. But then you can can see the other shots and you realize it’s a Gorilla Biscuits Euro tour 1991 tee. Not too bad. I prefer the longsleeve, and I prefer shirts that aren’t short wides, but I might give this one a go. It’s still super cheap with less than a day to go. Could be mine come tomorrow morning.
