Tags Matching: too drunk to fuck

The Dead Kennedys do not get enough love. Not on here, not in the scene, not anywhere in 2011. Understandable, given that most of their song topics are Greek to most teenagers now (hell, half the names in Moral Majority were already obsolete when I first heard DK in 1994), but also ironic. Cuz if there ever was a time when an 80s band could reunite and compose new material that would still be relevant, the time would be now and the band would be DK. Alas, Jello’s ideals, the rest of the bands greed, and shows with the kid from Father Knows Best on vocals have pretty much left Dead Kennedys out in the cold in the current climate. A shame. Yeah, Jello still runs off at the mouth when you put a mic in his hand, but it’s not the same.
