Look, I get it. Kids buy merch from popular bands to intentionally resell them…something that we tend to frown upon and call out on the regular. christoday emphasizes that he is not flipping this but he “just didn’t like the fit” when he bought it. Alright, I’m okay with that. I’ve had shirts in the past that I’ve bought that just didn’t fit me correctly (I’m looking at you American Apparel) but it trips me out that he says he “thought I’d enjoy it more”. Maybe he thought he was buying a Go-cart or something…anyway, pick up this Stick Together tee while its still at a reasonable price.

Mini This Is Hardcore 2011 – Wrap Up
Honestly, I have no right to post a wrap up. I’d direct you over to the 50+ page b9 TIH wrap up or the b9 TIH merch wrap up. Both are chalk full of funny stories, merch pickups and other odds and ends. You see, I had to work both Friday and Monday from 8am to 6pm. That means I drove down Friday night, showing up in time to park next to the stage door. From there, I got to listen to Youth Of Today. I then spent all Saturday at the fest behind the Bane table hustling Tee Till Death tees and stickers or at the Blackbird Pizzeria table devouring vegan goods. Favorite set honors go to Stick Together, Rival Mob, Bane, Cold World (fuck, so god damn amazing) and Blacklisted. Blacklisted should have headlined, I feel they stole a lot of Terror’s thunder. Great set, but a super fucking hard act to follow. And no real Vogelisms. Instead of saying wacky stuff, he just said everything in iterations of 3: “get up, get up, get up” or “stage dive, stage dive, stage dive”… Shout outs to Ian Larrabee for some solid dives. Linkovich and Nate get high honors for their stage dives. No one tops those two.
As for pick ups, hell, I didn’t even grab that many tees (compared to 3 days at Sound And Fury…). I somehow missed the hoopla that surrounded the Rival Mob table, which was in the other building, and somehow, Cold World totally snuck by both Naidoo and I with their merch. The records I purchased? Well, I left those on some merch table or under a merch table or … no idea. Lost in time. But here’s what I ended up scooping. A couple of solid pick ups in here. Loving the puffy ink.

Leave a comment below with your favorites and “best of” merch items. I know you guys can fill in Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
This Is Hardcore: Down To Nothing
Down To Nothing is awesome. You know this. They are going to SMASH This Is Hardcore today. They clobbered Sound And Fury, murdered every single United Blood. It’s going to be a blood bath of mosh during This Is Hardcore. Just you wait.
Make sure to check out the other auctions from xdalegutsx. Save on shipping, you know?
This Is Hardcore: Reach The Sky
Sunday of This Is Hardcore is a pretty big one. One of my favorite bands ever is playing, Reach The Sky. Seriously, love this band. I can recall some of those early shows and the energy was always over the top. Over the years the energy waxed and waned, but it’s always a blast seeing them. I’d suggest you make sure to watch them later today.
Grab these Victory Records era tees (sans Bulldog) from daysarelikeknives.
This Is Hardcore: Bitter End
The This Is Hardcore Saturday lineup is dope. There is no doubt about it. Just one solid band after another. Like after The Rival Mob, Bitter End is playing. This band is always a good time. Some harder mosh, obviously than the Mob, but I feel like Philly will give them plenty of love today.
Grab this shirt from xcowabungax. I don’t know about you, but this shirt offers me everything I like on a shirt. Pocket print, solid fonts, live shot on the back (with an Eye For An Eye tshirt!) … Great shirt.
This Is Hardcore: The Rival Mob
Here’s the thing about This Is Hardcore. A lot of bands play the fest year after year. And you know what? I love that. Because the bands that play annually are fucking awesome. Case in point: The Rival Mob. Love the Rival Mob. These dudes are local heads and are always down for a top shelf gig. They’re playing today, and you know I’m psyched.
ikeepadiary is selling this tee. He couldn’t recall if this was from SAF or TIH. I’m fairly certain this was a TIH gig shirt from 2-3 years back. When I see Doug Free later, I’ll make sure to ask him. Bitter Rivals.
Welcome To The Dog Pound
Pretty quiet day at the crib. Got home last night, picked up the dogs this morning. They were damn stinky so they had a bath. Now we’re all just chilling around the house, waiting for an interesting football game to develop. Peep this Backtrack tee. They know what I’m talking about with this tshirt from This Is Hardcore 2010. Also, hit up the other auctions from our friend Kitzel. Then try to tell me how he stuffed himself into a size small Forfeit tee … The Terror beanie makes WAY more sense. All sales to benefit Reaper Records. We’re fans.
Ink & Dagger Friend
bleedingfornoone saw Ink & Dagger at This Is Hardcore a few months back. He grabbed a few shirts for friends. Those friends haven’t given him $10 for their tees yet. What kind of friends are these? The seller is from Watervliet, NY so I can only assume his friends are Shakers, which is actually located in Colonie, NY, but is referred to as the Watervliet Shaker Society, even though they mainly settled in New Lebanon. And since the only REAL remaining Shakers live in Sabbath Day Lake, ME, I assume they just haven’t gotten around to hitting up mr bleedingfornoone. I mean, there are currently only 3 active members of the Shaker society so you can imagine they are pretty busy doing other stuff. Shout outs to Brother Arnold! I could see him rocking an Ink & Dagger tee… Someone send him a gift card to Six Feet Under Records where they have a SLEW of Ink & Dagger tees available. Of course, like the seller mentions, these shirts are different than the one being auctioned. But you have at least 4 different designs to choose from.
THIS IS HARDCORE: Clubber Lang.
Thanks to rottingaway, I can continue my habit of posting mini-reviews and videos from this year’s This Is Hardcore Fest…
At the 2009 TIHC, Clubber Lang did 2 songs right before Cold World. I was real psyched on this, and moshed like a maniac. This year… still psyched, but didn’t make so much with the moshing. Instead, I took it easy and watched from the sidelines. I was trying to pace myself for the weekend, all I can say. Little did I know that Cooper was counting on me to be his barometer to gauge how well they were doing. I let you down, bro. So I want it put on record that they in fact did play great; even pulling a demo song out of the mothballs, and there was much pitting to be had. They sold this same shirt design last year as well, only it was white on green instead of the Phillies colors seen above. This years video isn’t up yet, so here’s last years to tide you over…
