I’ll Meet You In The Mall, Mother Fucker!

As far as I’m concerned, this Youth Of Today was only ever sold in malls. You know, pre Hot Topic tshirt store. Does anyone, from back in the day, recall YOT ever selling this shirt at a gig? I’m fairly positive the answer is no. Think early 90s, but not at a gig. nunkinnog2 doesn’t say either way where he got it, but based on his other tees, I think the mall is probably that spot. Regardless of where it came from, it’s still a dope tee.

Teavana & Darkbuster

Walking through my metrowest Boston mall the other day, I saw a dude working at Teavana rocking a Darkbuster tshirt. It was the Ramones rip off version … Question. When did Darkbuster tshirts become work appropriate? I mean, if he worked at Spencer’s Gifts, it would have been all good. But Teavana? That’s some high brow** spot. If you work at Spencer’s or Hot Topic, I suggest grabbing this longsleeve from markalind. Or maybe the Blockbuster rip off is more your style. Grab that one if you work at Blockbuster … oh wait …

Youth Of Today – We’re Not In This Alone Tee

This shirt was a mall staple back in the day.

I can’t recall any store that would have actually carried this tee, but I recall it as a mall store item. Or maybe it was huge in the Sessions Magazine. More likely it was Sessions.

I think it would often be side by side with the YOT breaking chain tee and the YOT Break Down The Walls with big x’ed up fist tee. They always seemed to show up at the same spot.

I always thought this was a great sleeper tee. Bright red, X’ed up and proclaims “We’re Not In This Alone!” Great album.
