While merchnow has a Ten yard Fight “Hardcore Pride” hoodie still available, it’s nowhere near as cool as the xbelieveinmex is selling. This is the original design before it was restructured. I prefer the original with the big X on the back to the way it was redone. Will that Buy It Now price be reached? We’ll see…
Big ups to my dude Jeff for printing shirts on baby blue. I posted drewtilldeath1986‘s Ten Yard Fight tour shirt over the weekend which is also baby blue…do I see a trend here? No love for baby blue? But Drew you are right, the Bottled Up logo is killer.
I saw TYF on this tour…Fastbreak was also on that tour and as good as TYF was that night, Fastbreak blew them off the stage (sorry guys). I’m pretty sure the band was still touring on “Back On Track” at this point as well. Its a fun design with the kid on the front throwing the football. I love when bands print on baby blue shirts…its just a good look. I wish more bands would print on this color…but drewtilldeath1986, I gotta ask you. How bulletproof is the back print? I mean it’s not quite mid-90s vegan SXE bulletproof but it’s damn near close. I’m sweating just looking at it.
I did like the Impact demo but felt like the rest of the material from Stand And Fight didn’t hold my attention. Never saw them but I’m sure they put on a good show. Pretty sure this tee was printed by Bridge 9 when their full length was released. lifesabeach22 has some more tees from that era (early to mid-2000′s) up so take a peek.
Seriously how good was Fastbreak’s first full length “Fast Cars, Fast Women”? I can still put it on today and run through all 11 tracks (if you count “Hate Your Way”) without skipping any. Pat Rorick is still one of my favorite frontmen…so much energy. They came down in 1998 or 1999 with Ten Yard Fight and as much I do enjoy TYF, Fastbreak blew them off the stage. barfight has a shirt from what I feel is the best era of the band. Nice pin up art on the back plus that great “Team Big Wheel” below it. I miss that label…I remember them folding but anyone know why?
Seller xchipxsem offers up his concert memorabilia from the 90′s once again. Take a look…
TYF was one of the first SXE bands from the revival era that I ever got into. I gravitated towards the lyrics that made reference to staying on side in sport, and in life. Coming from a background in Metal these lyrics were very about face. Every 10.17 I make a point to play the TYF Disco, and I think no matter the gimmick this band belongs in the upper echelons of our society.
With that being said I’ve never seen this shirt before. It looks to have been worn during its fair share of goal line stands. I still think the shirt would wear very well, and would be sure to turn heads at next year’s NED.
Just a few hours left on this Ten Yard Fight “The Only Way” tee. Not sure if this was printed by the band or by Equal Vision but I do love that record. shonlearn has a few other items up worth checking out.
Before reading the description from xpoulpex, I knew this shirt was fucked. Look at the first picture. See that seam on the side? That’s an instant sign of tailoring. UGH. Not cool. Apparently this Ten Yard Fight “fits perfectly,” though. I find that hard to believe. I can’t recall EVER wearing size small tshirts so I’d guess this would NEVER fit me perfectly. Booo. But you know what? An XL would have fit fine, even if I wore another shirt under it. Tee Till Death does not love tailored tees.
Our friend Thomas has a whole lot of tees up right now for auction, and I figured I’d start off by bringing you this pair from Ten Yard Fight’s last show, aka National Edge Day #1. Because some things in life haven’t changed since 1999. There’s an Edge Day every year, literally nationally, and if you’re from Boston, the Yankees still fn’ suck. Even in the off season.
(Yo Murphy, didn’t you end up winning my Yankees Suck TYF tee when I eBayed it back in like 2001?)
Here is another lot for sale! xdanex is selling this one and he provided a list of the shirts for us.
