I was talking to a few crucial dudes the other day, when one of the dudes dropped that quote. “I’d rather break edge than watch a Grade reunion.” Big words, no doubt. But worth it? Was Grade that terrible? I recall that first 10″ being enjoyable. Not sure I heard anything after that though. I’m sure I didn’t see them in 2000 like sktbrdr1976 did. I did catch them 4 times in 3 months during 98 … Oh, I guess I did see them in 2000. They played Portland, Maine with American Nightmare and Reach The Sky, but since AJ had to drive Storrow Drive, we missed all of American Nightmare. RTS had a solid set that night. The venue was this weird slanted bowl. You couldn’t stand in the back because the floor sloped down to the stage. Gravity brought you to the front of the stage every time. I mean, in the case of RTS, Ian and crew brought you to the front of the stage. Great set.
