Stop And Think Before You Tailor!

I’m pretty sure the shirt tailoring article in Lockin Out Fanzine limited itself to the removal of sleeves and collar. Seller noxnever unfortunately went an entirely different route, professionally tailoring a perfectly wearable size Medium Stop and Think tee into a size Small.

He should have taken a cue from deathofyourworld and left that sizing alone. While they’re for different SNT tees, both these auctions have been up pretty much the same amount of time (under a days difference), and both usually go for good money, but it’s the un-tailored Stop and Think longsleeve that has already skyrocketed…

Boston Straight Edge Anvil

When I first saw this Stop And Think, I immediately thought “bootleg.” I saw that Anvil tag, and said, hmm, I SWORE these were screened on FOTL Heavy Cotton longsleeves. I had to dig through my collection. Turns out, the gold ones were printed on FOTL Heavy Cotton and the two sided white ones were on Anvil. Sort of weird, but they were printed separately so I can see how that’d make sense. Either way, looks like drewtilldeath1986 has a legit AND AWESOME snt longsleeve for sale. Have at it.

Truth be told, it WAS supposed to get posted up before now, but our old friend Father Time got away from me. But seeing as where the price is at right now, I think you’ll be fine anyways. Just a hunch.

cut_down has a way with words. He describes this Stop And Think as a “classic shirt.” True story. This shirt will go down in the hardcore hall of fame as one of the last decades best. It takes a little Straight Ahead, a little Smorgasbord Records and a lot of Boston Straight Edge and boom, one awesome tshirt. This one is a must have. If you have a tank, get at me. I’m still looking for one.

Just because it lacks a LOC doesn’t make it any less of a LOC tshirt. Stop And Think will always be LOC crew. This is the first tee. Way back. Think With TTD.

Australian seller whatawasteofpants has a pair of Stop and Think shirts that aren’t too high yet ending today, but from the look of things, he’s not shipping anywhere but within Australia? Surely that can not be correct…

Thankfully, you have other options available to you this week. Seller nonotgstk has the longsleeve up right now…

…and while no one else has a Think With California tee, seller ppppbbbbbbb has the Eagle tee in grey. As I’m sure I’ve mentioned on here before, I’m stuck with a small that I’ve been looking to trade up, and this one is a medium. I had tried to work something out with him in advance, but he wanted to take his chances with auctioning it. I don’t blame him in the slightest.

Red And Yellow Volume 1: For Special Occasions.

First thing in the morning, do you know what I do? I go to the gym, baby. In fact, since this was scheduled for 8am, I’m there right now. Now, the gym means sweating, and sweating means a tank top. I’ve got tons. Some of them started out as tees and were cut down that way, but still. TONS of tank tops for gym wear. There’s a high turn over rate, as sweat eventually equals smell, and there’s one tank that I almost NEVER wear to the gym, because it’s too rare and too precious to me. And that tank top is the Stop And Think tank top, as shown here in this auction from good ol’ reliable icegrillz05.

Like the man says, these are rare as hell (/20). I only even got mine because Spaulding wore his at a show (the first Invasion show I believe), and the straps got ripped in half. I asked him for it, and for some reason despite my being a dick to him 9 times out of 10, he gave it to me rather than just have it repaired. Now, a funny thing happened once I had it sewn back together. I got very paranoid about wearing it and having it get ripped again. So it makes appearances very, very sporadically. It really takes a special occasion, like say… an Invasion gig.

Oh the irony.

Patience and Closet Finds

Do you follow us on Twitter? It pays to be patient while surfing twitter. I was shooting the shit with some people when I came across a tweet from ragingbull20. He mentioned how he had just stumbled across a gold mine of merch in his closet. He wasn’t lying. He’s got some excellent Lockin Out goods.

The Wrongside melting LOC shirt. This was printed up for the first “last” gig. At this point, who has more last gigs? TWS or Floorpunch? I love this one. Wish I hadn’t traded my black shirt with pink ink … Still got the longsleeve though.

Sink With California. Or a really skewed US. Same diff. #USA #1

Now I’ve Stopped And Thinked It All!!

This is an interesting one. The seller was helping clean up after Posi Numbers 2002 when he stumbled across this Stop And Think banner. He folded it up and put it in the back of his closet. Now he’s breaking it out, and selling it on ebay. You win? Not sure how this compares to a Stop And Think tanktop (I need one. Get at me) or a Stop And Think stool, but it’s pretty crucial… Right?

This line makes me laugh.

Looks like it was made with some stencils and spray paint on an old sheet. Probably at 8 Carmel by A.J. himself. Still has the duct tape at the top they used to hang it up.
