Fight The Release In Your Hoodie

Initial Records released the Slugfest “discography” back in 1996 and it was nice to have that 7 inch on a disc. What was even nicer was to have those 4 newly recorded songs on the disc as well but the release was lacking the demo so it was never a complete release. The label did print up two shirts for the release and this is the one we see least. The more famous is the Calvin and Hobbes design but loadofhogwash has the more collegiate style design. I always loved that Vogel had such pride for his hometown and threw “Buffalo Hardcore” on at least one tee in whatever band he was in. Now that Buy it Now price…I don’t know too much about that but stranger things have happened I guess.

Philadelphia Turmoil Creamcheese

I didn’t like this Turmoil tee back in the 90s and I don’t like it now. The 90s were all about product knock-offs…it reminds me of that Slugfest “Blunt” design. At least they picked the right color gray for the tee. 1997 would put this around the release of “Anchor”. oathrecs

Slugfest, Buffalo Hardcore

This is one of two tees that Initial Records did for the Slugfest “discography” that came out in 1996. Alright so the discography wasn’t really that but at least it collected the 7 inch and gave us the tracks that hadn’t been recorded when the band broke up. xx43xx kept this one in great shape. If you can fit into a Small, then this one is for you.

Slugfest “Buffalo Style” shirt

Sure that one dude who always shows up to Terror shows in his Buried Alive jersey seems to know what’s up, but once you stroll in with this Slugfest shirt all eyes are on you pal! I am assuming that this is an original shirt, as it has the cheaply made fading action going on.

You won’t hear any complaints from me about Calvin and Hobbes rocking it out Buffalo Style. I always wanted an original Slugfest Blunts shirt, so if you have one you want to give me, I will gladly accept.
