Sleeves Still Suck

randomhero123 knows what I’m saying. He’s got an ass ton of sleeveless tshirts up on ebay, all ending soon. And for the most part, each is still less than a dollar. Hell, it’s cheaper to buy these sans sleeves than to buy a regular tee and cut them off yourself. Think about that.

Night of the Metal Monday.

I bet you all thought we were sleeping on this week’s Metal Monday, but while that’s technically true (I did in fact sleep through most of the day, which is nuts since I went to bed at 9 last night. Being sick is crazy), we’re not about to let a Metal Monday pass us by. Especially not when seller’s like burnseraph bring us things we love, like say… sleeveless Black Sabbath crewnecks from 1983.

$50 is a heck of a BIN for 3/4 of a shirt, but I have to admit… I am sorely tempted. Maybe that’s the fever talking. Expect plenty more Metal Monday goodness between now and midnight, as my 20 hours or whatever it was of sleep obviously is gonna have me awake for awhile.

I’m not much of a metal head but I can hang with some solid shirt designs. That’s the case here with the Slayer And Testament sleeveless tees. Oh yeah. Sleeveless tees rule**. randomhero123 has two great ones from 1988. I could see Morgado sporting these. That is, if they hadn’t started as late 80s Larges and shrunk over the last 20+ years. D’oh.

Speaking Of Pantera…

I love that we’ve been on a slight Pantera kick around here lately, but I’m sure Phil and the remaining surviving Pantera members would prefer it if you were never reminded of the bands roots as a hair metal band. Unfortunately for them, burnseraph remembers, and it would be remiss of us to not use it as part of this week’s Metal Monday…

He’s pretty open about the fact that this is a rag (I’m assuming because the band hunted all of these down and tried to destroy them), but I do have to take exception to one part of his description: he says the shirt was produced this way, and that the collar and sleeves are hemmed. But his plethora of close ups show pretty clearly that this is just a shirt that was cut up at home.

Professionally hemmed? Not a chance. I don’t know what he’s thinking trying to get $20 for it. Not only is it hacked up, but just look at it: that shirt is philthy.

Metal Monday Make Up Tee.

Damn son, where was this shirt from bigxdig yesterday when we needed it for a slow Metal Monday (so what if it was actually slow because of my own interests, you shush)…

Two of my favorite things: Pantera and no sleeves. I actually had very literally just posted the video for Cowboys From Hell on my Tumblr right before seeing this too, talk about serendipity.

DOLLOFF!

Oh Dolloff, you dirty little rat you. I saw this Madball shirt, and instantly got excited, because it had a $30 BIN. Then I scrolled down, and saw the condition. You can click the pic and go see it for yourself; it’s in such bad condition that he actually describes it as “essentially a rag”.

His No Warning shirt on the other hand, is in much better condition; albeit still sleeveless and pit stained. But that’s because, much like myself, Dolloff’s shirts did not have sleeves from 2000-2005 or so. No BIN on this one though.
