Sleeveless Inside Out.

Another size altered tee from just_flipping, but I kept this one separate because of the lack of sleeves. Yes, I now that is ridiculous logic, but it paid off, because now you can compare it to the altered (and sleeved) Inside Out tee that Lynn posted the other day…

South of Heaven on Monday

Well here we will feature another beautiful piece of merch from 1988. This comes complete with the South of Heaven artwork on the front and the group shot on the back. There are a few different shirts made for this tour, but I think this is the only one that had the album art on it. You can join the likes of 48hours2rock and Morgado, they like to wear sleeveless shirts. Pete told me yesterday how he saw Slayer in 1988 at The Channel and it was a real wild show.

Minus $2.50 For Each Sleeve.

You know you want this Ringworm tee from cosmicsea. How can you not? It’s 5bucks, it’s sleeveless, and it’s RINGWORM! Human Furnace would rock it sans sleeves, so why shouldn’t you?

(I don’t know why the enlarged picture is weird, but the auction pic is normal so click on the pic to see the full design. And then snag it.)

Anti-social Anthrax Alterations.

I was almost about to get all psyched about soundlevels sleeveless Anthrax tees, because as I’m sure we all have heard by now, two things I love are Anthrax and sleeveless tees. And these are all 80s XL’s, which means they had a chance of fitting… until I read further and saw that they had been altered. That’s NOT cool.

Megadeth Sleeveless Metal Monday

How metal is cutting your sleeves off? Very metal and diehards-and-shirts has an OG Megadeth “Peace Sell…” tee that has the sleeves cut off. Nice big front graphic of Vic Rattlehead…definitely a good look even though winter is coming.

Sleeveless But Not Out.

If you’ve read any posts from me on this site before now, you probably know that two of my favorite things are sleeveless tees and the Cro-mags. Seller airkeith69 therefore is my favorite seller in the world right now, as his Down But Not Out 89 tee has had the sleeves removed…

I don’t care what anyone says, it’s a great look on a great tee.

Circle Jerks VI.

Cool old Circle Jerks tee from nocturnal_lecher here…

John LaCroix used to swear up and down on the Ten Yard Fight website that VI was a great record, but I never got into it. I think he was just prejudiced because the lyrics to I Don’t read like a Straight Edge song. That said, later material aside, Circle Jerks are one of the first hc bands I got into, and are still one of my favorites. But good original tees of theirs are hard to find. You do a search, and literally pages of “officially licensed” crap versions of tees like this abound. So it’s nice to see a real one show up, even if it’s post-Wild In The Streets era. Though of course, I myself could be prejudiced due to the lack of sleeves…

Punks Not Dead.

I’ve never been a big Exploited guy. I think I owned one record, and it was from their thrash metal years, when the mohawks had been turned into dreadlocked top knots. It was their 1996 record Beat The Bastards, and I actually don’t remember it as being all that bad. Judging by the art and the PUNKS NOT DEAD declaration on the back, you’d think this sleeveless tee from nocturnal_lecher would be from when they still were 100% punk rockers, but it’s actually from when they first started dabbling in crossover. By today’s standards not by much, but given where they ended up, it certainly allows me to slip this in under the Metal Monday banner; even if 1988 Expolited is nowhere near the metal-ness of what I heard in 1996 (which as a quick tour of tracks up on youtube shows, sounds surprisingly akin to modern AF. Weird).

Metal Monday Is Back!

Ok, so I was a little premature with my original declaration of return to TTD, but this time I mean it: I’m back, and so is Metal Monday, with an onslaught of cheap, mostly sleeveless, soon to end metal tees from vinylandshirts. Except for the Metallica tee of course, which is already over 50 bucks. But every thing else is still staying low…

Plenty more metal tees up in the other auctions! I’m still slowly easing my way back into full time posting, but I’ll be back with a non-MM post in a few, and then some more metal this afternoon.
