Seller janvanderdam is one of our favorites here at TTD. But these two Slapshot shirts he’s got up… well, let’s just say they’re far from our favorite. But JVD has been so good to us, I want to say at least ONE nice thing. So here goes: the back print on the pocket print tee? I like it. Even with the cartoon bulldog. If the pocket print was the mask, or vice verse I think they’d have had something there.

Slapshot Set List 1986.

I’ve never been super big on collecting set lists; it’s always struck me as a bit more of a rock and roll groupie thing than a hardcore kid thing. The argument could be made that it’s like collecting flyers, but I always felt that a well made flyer with a good graphic that you could hang on your wall is way cooler than 5-10 songs scrawled in magic marker. That being said, there are definitely exceptions, and seller sweetschiel has got one: Slapshot’s set list for their first show at the Rat (not their FIRST show, that was in Providence, but their first show in Boston).

The two things that stand out on the set two songs called PUPPET MASTER and OUTCAST. I’ve never heard of either, and while I assume they were either junked or reworked (or even simply changed titles down the line the way Kill For A Drink became You’ve Lost It), I obviously still want to know what the deal is with those two. Very, very badly.

Seller jedi138 gets a major thumbs up from me for incorporating “concert gray” into his description for this Slapshot tee, tho alas, it was only to point out that this tee has not yet reached that beloved state…

I actually tried to find the original flyer the back is taken from, but it seems the pictures section of Slapshot’s website no longer exists. Bummer.

Can’t say for sure if this Slapshot tee from cardcheat is old or new. I don’t recall ever seeing a version of the skull with the band name stacked like that, but it certainly looks like that’s some thick, fading ink. Then again, that could just be shadow. We also don’t know if that’s the front of the tee or the back. But hey, the BIN’s only 10 bucks. New or old, not a bad deal.

Yes please! I love this Slapshot hoodie for sale by zombieritual83. It looks old and thin and comfortable. Sure Murphy would mock me if I showed up at his house with a navy sweatshirt, but I don’t care. I’m my own man, and I make my own rules. Hell I even love the tag on this thing! Screen Stars Sweats? Don’t mind if I do!

I hope people don’t think seller incorrectthoughts Slapshot shirt really was made with “gray puffy paint.” This is an early silkscreened design that has puffy ink. Think a puffy inked navy blue Chain Of Strength shirt for example. Slapshot shirts always looks better when they are simple, and this one is no exception. If it stays cheap, it’s mine.

Back On The Map

I need my buddy Moshua to comment on this Slapshot shirt for sale by hottdogg9000. While this shirt may be old, I don’t think its “Back On The Map” old. I know the sticks on the back were shaped differently. I could be wrong. I usually am. Keep an eye on the comments. Details they be a coming.

SlapShot shirts

Today Slapshot shirts are going to take the mid day time slot on TeeTillDeath. Seller monique736 has two shirts listed. This first one is of particular interest to me. It has the “Take No Prisoners” back print. I have it in red, and would love to add this black one to the pile. It would have been nice for a picture of that to be included in the auction, but I guess a guy can’t have everything.

Pretty Standard SlapShot fare on this second one. I love these shirts. I have had several, and you can literally wear the hell out of them and they do not fall apart. Boston Mass is the rippinest town!
