With all the Jules talk and auctions going on over at DoubleCross, I am curious to see how much this Side By Side shirt for sale by patrick166 will go for. Pretty standard fare here. Side By Side was not what I would call a T-shirt band. The crowning achievement of their shirtography being the demo cover design. Still, this is a solid Revelation classic that you should have in your collection.

Jules SBS Charity Auction Round 3

The fine fellows at DCXX have just upped a new batch of Jules’ records for auction. If you will remember, every penny will go to relief efforts in Japan. There are not any MEGA rare records in this batch, but wouldn’t it be nice to have a item in your collection that had such an interesting previous owner?

Side By Fucking Side

I’ve been on a bit of Side By Side tear lately. Probably based on those interviews up on DCXX (Part IV was added today. Go read it!). And probably because that EP is so fucking good. Seriously, just an ill slab from Revelation Records. It seems fitting that I would stumble across this longsleeve being sold by 13daysaweek. Love it. Side By Side tshirts are few and far between, and this is the staple that pops up often. But usually, in short sleeve. This one is rad. Love that Rev sleeve print. You may have to fight me for this one. #DeadSerious

So Do It Right.

Say what you want about Lost and Found and their basically “authorized” bootlegging in the 90s, but you have to admit, when it came to their bootleg designs, they did in fact go the extra mile and make their own. Case in point, this Side By Side boot being sold by sos.wax:

It may not be the best example of creativity, given that it’s just the usual SBS guys front print, but the addition of the giant back print (and you just know that if someone did this design now, it would say “Don’t Fuck It Up” instead of “So Do It Right”. Casali would HATE it.) and the choice of color scheme (red and yellow on what he says is a blue, a la the cover of the Lost and Found version of the record) manages to set it apart.

Please don’t be confused by this Side By Side shirt being sold by hortchef. THe auction claims that it is an original. It is not like any of the originals I have seen with their oversize, off-center, too high graphic placement. Good style though if happy marching skinheads are your thing.

We saw this particular tee at the beginnning of the month. Morgado was quick to call out jamooth on his incredible close ups. Hey, it happens, ya know? Looks like it went unsold (or unpaid for) and is being relisted. Personally, I love this tee, close up or no. Classic image and honestly, it looks better all cracked up. NFAA and SBS tees — better beat.

If you are going to be selling shirts, I would highly recommend that you take a page from loop88‘s playbook and include as much information as possible. If you know where you got it, who you bought it from and the color of his underwear that particular day, throw it in the auction description. Buyers (at least me) love to have some history behind their items. I know we covered Side By Side shirt last week, but this one looks good. Real good. You’re only young once dude.

I like Side By Side a lot. Enough that, much like UC, I don’t care if their shirts are real or booted as long as they are done right. This one from jamooth? I can’t tell if it’s done right, wrong, sideways, or what. The pics are so close up they’ve practically gone through to the inside of the shirt…

xxxevilxxx666 brings us a classic. This shirt is the standard for crucial Tee. I may have mentioned before but I have 2 of these shirts. One is a giant shirt that someone decided to “tailor” and it is now a misshapen mess of fabric. And the other I own is a great condition Medium which is too small for me to fit in. I may be throwing my own bids into this one so I can have one that I may actually be able to wear. These shirt pop up pretty often so I dont expect the price to be out of this world but respectable.
