I love all these old Shelter shirts. I love the Equal Vision logo…put the two together and you have jnientertainment‘s Shelter tee that I love. I kinda wish they would have thrown some color in the wheel logo but that’s just me nitpicking. Would this have been the Inside Out tour where Vic quit to join Shelter? I mean it’s right around that time period…anyone know?

jnientertainment also dug out this Quest For Certainty tee which we see every now and then. I own this one and it gets regular wear from me. Nice color combo featuring that beautiful baby blue that I love so much.

I was looking for the video of Ray jump kicking Porcell (or is it Vic?) and I stumbled across this…

I love this Shelter tee from malayavintagejunkie. I actually own this and picked it up on my last trip to Japan at Disk Union for 800 yen. They also had a “Slip” era Quicksand shirt but I dropped the ball. When I went back the next day to pick it up, someone had bought it…oh well, live and learn. I’ve always been under the impression that Equal Vision printed these and sold them through their mail-order as opposed to the band. I love the color combo of navy and baby blue…mine fits true to size so hopefully this is from the same stock

Shelter Kidney Print

I think jbil deemed this particular print the “kidney print” a while back. Works for me. I had this same shirt in a longsleeve a while back but sold it since it’s too hot down here for longsleeves. Kinda regret it but I could always just scoop up the one that xxswampthingxx is selling and fill that empty place in my heart. If I don’t, someone else should.

We Found A Better Way

Well it looks like sinkler100 is starting round 2 of his t-shirt purging. Was this one available the first time around? I can’t remember…either way, I always loved the cover art for this record but not when its printed on a XXL shirt and the design is the size of the CD insert. Cmon, this design has back t-shirt print written all over it. I’m pretty sure this was a legit design (not a bootleg) but if anyone knows otherwise, let us know,

I Need Your, I Need Your, I Need Your Longsleeve

This past weekend, my new band played our first two shows and our friend Andre came along to help out. He had his pillow in the back of the van which had the Shelter shirt that hipsterparadisefashion is selling as its pillow case. His shirt had seen better days but he did tell me this was his favorite Shelter tee. Andre, this one is for you to replace that pillowcase and wear it proudly once again. Was this thing ever worn? That white is blinding and the lack of wizard sleeves is great. I’m pretty sure this was printed between “Mantra” and “Beyond Planet Earth”. Blue Grape approved.

Shelter longsleeve

I dont think Im in the wrong when I say that Shelter has a lot of terrible looking shirts. When I think Shelter shirts I think piss grey, natural color shirts, and weirdo logo placements. But this longsleeve is actually something I would rock the shit out of. Its pretty clean and simple. Its got a nice vintage EVR look to it. Its ending soon and to be honest Im kinda surprised its not much higher than 20 bucks! Maybe you can catch a deal from gecco0603

We Found A Better Way

My dude Danny aka alliedtrailers continues to pull out some great merch. I sold this same longsleeve (mine was white) a few months ago and I have to say that the navy works way better (sorry Murphy) for the design. I’m still not 100% sure of the era of the band but from what I understand its somewhere between Attaining the Supreme and Mantra. Can we get a ruling on the sleeves? Wizard or no wizard?

In Defense Of Relisting

Seller pingler had this same piss gray/orange Shelter shirt up for sale in December, and the auction ended at $30+. The current auction makes no mention of any deadbeat sellers, or problems with the last auction. It’s pretty safe to say that the buyer last time flaked, as there is no feedback anywhere for this shirt. I still enjoy this shirt, and I hope it finally finds a good home.

I Need Your Kidney Print

Maybe it was the time period but were more bands printing shirts with the kidney print? My Earth Crisis “Conviction Records” longsleeve has a print in the same area and that was roughly around 1992-ish. Just an odd place to print…ahh the 90s. sharpieadict has this old Shelter shirt that was sold through Revelation in the early 90s. I had this same design in a longsleeve and sold it on Ebay for more than I expected so Im curious to see where this one goes. Love the pre-Equal Vision back print.
