Wide Awake OG?

When I see something like this Wide Awake Schism tee, I tend to think bootleg because of a certain Ebay seller from a non-US country so no offense when I first saw yours beautystrk. I did some looking into and I’d agree that this looks as legit as they come. Classic look on both sides of the tee…this was also printed with a blue X I think. I just realized I have the CD discography that Smorgasbord released…gonna have to go back and give this one a listen for the first time in years.

Original Schism longsleeves dont really pop up everyday on ebay so why not settle for the next best thing, The official reprints from Porcell in the early 2000s. I heard stories of a bunch of people never getting their order but I guess aaronxelias didnt have that problem. I ordered this longsleeve and the PX short and longsleeve. For some reason I passed over the Judge shortsleeve. I kinda regret that I did. I love these shirts cause they are still pretty crucial but I dont have to worry about they getting fucked up and I can wear them where ever. The seller has an average BIN on this for you to scoop up.

There is always a market for OG schism gear. Im not sure how strong the current market is right now but I can safely say with 100% certainty that the market will never be as high as modernist65 thinks it is. I mean, shit, this thing doesnt even have sleeves. I think the only thing this does have going for it is the original miller tag on it.

I’m not gonna lie and say I know a lot about Wide Awake merch but judging by the rest of the stuff that live_hard has up, I’d lean toward this being authentic. No mention of the tag so your guess is as good as mine but it’s still at an affordable price so if you’ve been looking for this, get in on it. Also, I find it funny that the back of the shirt is a photo of a dude wearing the front of the shirt.

Im glad I wasn’t the only one tricked into buying this abomination. bust! clearly thought it was a good idea too. I remember when they went on sale, it was like noon on a Saturday or something stupid. Dayglo orange and blue… for a JUDGE shirt. American Apparel… on a JUDGE shirt. Come on Rev what did Mike Judge do to you to deserve this?

SOD Schism Tour 85 shirt

A little something about myself, the first show I ever went to was Anthrax. And even then I was more into SOD than Anthrax. So long before I had any concept of collecting t shirts, or even before i knew what hardcore was I wanted an SOD shirt. But I didnt want that SOD Live At Budokan shirt I saw at in the back of metal magazines, I wanted this Schism Tour 85 shirt. I have no idea where I would have seen it in the first place to know about it, but I’ve wanted it forever, SS bolts on the back and all. Christmas is coming really soon and this would make a good present for someone *hint*.

realealmetaltees is selling the white one but I also wouldnt mind the black version.

Judge Schism Porcell reprint

If you were looking for a Judge Schism longsleeve reprint, you could do a lot worse than this one for sale by bluedan92. This is one of the ones that Porcell made a few years back, and they were done up pretty close to the real thing. This one is still hanging around at a low price, so snap it up.

There has been some discussion here about the Project X shirt for sale by hardcorex74. The seller claims that this shirt is original and that he has had it for 15 years. Most of the time the Schism shirts we come across have Miller tags in them. I do know of another black Project X Schism shirt with a Fruit Of The Loom tag which is original. Couple that with the convincing wear on this one, and I would call this an OG. As always, check with the seller if you need more info, or better, non closeup pictures.

Is this Judge Schism shirt OG? donjuanepstein has an interesting story about it which I’ll let them tell you about:

these shirts were found in a storage unit with no tags; they look to be in large or x large sizes (buyers beware – I am not going to measure these shirts and there are no returns.) Most if not all need to be ironed and all shirts have been cleaned and inspected. So you know, these concert shirts were given to me by a friend who grew up in Boston and he had to clean up his storage unit (plus the bastard owes me money bigtime.) so he gave me these concerts shirts to sell

No tag leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth but looking through the sellers other items leads me to believe he might be on to something. Bid at your own risk because I don’t think you’re going to get much more info on it.
