Now for my second comeback post im back to complaining and being a grumpy old man. I love a good slapshot shirt. This is not one of them. I hate a rip off shirt and I feel like I hate a Slapshot Rip off shirt even more. They are fucking Slap Shot! All they need to do is put the cover of “Back on the Map” on a shirt and you have a hit shirt. This shirt from alliedtrailers sucks and I know its not the only SS rip off shirt out there. Ill go back into my cave and try to keep on pretending they dont exist.

Yes I like the first OLC record and Earth Crisis. So What?!?
Nothing says 90s(or 2000s ha!) like a good old ripoff graphic. Execept in the 90s it was usually a corporate brand rip off logo while in the 2000s and currently its band rip off shirts. Looks like Earth Crisis was ahead of thier time!sounditoutrecordstc

Bad Brains quickness

A bad brains quickness shirt from everyones favorite sketchy seller aka nerveagent aka Slavako. Its a 50/50 split on people hes ripped off VS people that have had no problems. Roll them dice if youre feeling lucky. This shirt is a little over priced in my opinion for not being a tour shirt but on the other hand is an old BB shirt so who cares. I have this same shirt with rasta print on a red shirt and also on a teal tank top!
The neck of this shirt looks a little funky too like it was repaired from being stretched out or is that just wrinkles.

Hatebreed Schism shirt

I remember when this shirt first came out. I bought it at a show at the “el’n'gee” in new london. I hate that place. security, barrier, in the middle of no where. worst place. That show I believe was Hatebreed and Death Threat in 2002/2003(?). A lot of good merch that night. Good Death threat tour shirts.(if anyone has the royal blue one with flourecent green front pocket print and white back. tour year sleeve print. In a M or L and wanna get rid of it, holler at me via comment). Death Threat also had some silkscreen posters and baseball pennants(thats right, baseball pennants!!). I digress, before the show Jamey told me that I would be psyched on the shirts that night and he was right! This was around the time of “Perseverance” or “Rise of Brutality” so Hatebreed was blowing up at that time. They had a very metalcore image so to make such a crucial shirt was awesome. Enough ranting. If you dont have this shirt, you should. under the knife- youre moshing.

Probable Bad Brains Bootleg – Buyer Beware

If I were you I would think again before buying this shirt. Chances are this thing is bootleg. First warning sign – the seller is selling nothing else but other bootlegs. I know youre saying “hey but its on a Screen Stars brand shirt”. Well I browse through various local vintage clothes shops weekly and have seen a ton of “vintage” bootlegs on screen star and other band shirts. Warning sign 2 – look at the tag itself. If this is an early 80′s vintage shirt then why does that tag look like its never been in a washing machine ever? I have a ton of old shirts and I can tell you that none of the tags look that crispy. Warning sign 3 – look at the graphic itself. Shit is way too crispy. no fading no cracking. looks mint. Chances are he scored an old deadstock blank screen stars shirt and screen that graphic on it changing it from a 10 buck new reprint to a 50 buck “vintage” BB shirt. I wouldnt bid on this or the sellers other items.

Note on the seller. From checking out his other auctions and then his feedback. On Jun 21 he bought a size XL(with tag) slapshot shirt with easy bootable bulldog graphic. Now he has the same design slapshot shirt in size L(with no tag) for sale with a description that it is from the “early-mid 90′s”. sketchy seller.

Maroon 5 – Black Flag ripoff

On the way to a Madball show last night I saw someone wearing this shirt on the street. Did a double take and realized it was not a Black Flag shirt I have never seen but rather a crap rock band shirt. On the plus side, Madball played a pretty good set. Definitely played “across your face”!! Maybe my favorite NYHC moshpart
