Hatebreed Ringer

40mc has something that up that we dont see too often. It reminds me a lot of the 1998 Madball ringer that we see a lot on ebay. Were ringers really the trend in 98 that I dont remember?

Does this SOIA shirt from seller Mr.igren win the award for WOAT SOIA shirt? Obv WOAT is the opposite of GOAT. Lets see it has a ringer and a tattooy sacred heart. It does predate the whole tattoo inspired shirt graphics that took over HC merch for a hot minute by a few years but that is no saving grace. Maybe we can blame that whole time period of merch on this shirt?!? Now if we can only find out which shirt is reponsible for all the lazy old HC shirt rip off graphics(ie just replace the old band name with your new one) that plauges us today.

Vision ringer style

heathens brings us another ringer for the masses. He says he picked this up at the Alive and Well fest. I dont remember this being sold there but there was a ton of merch that day. I wanna say that was the first like big fest like atmosphere show I ever went to. I think the only thing I ended up copping from there was an underdog pool skater shirt. That whole weekend was a blast though. Floorpunch dudes played host for a bunch of CT people and showed us the wonders of the shore. Highlights include(forgive me if I get the details wrong) sneaking in on a press pass, murphy’s laws set, swimming at the shore, veggie burgers at some windmill place, swimming at Porters then fiances pool(mayber her parents??), getting split lip from Geoff TDT during one of the sets, and Burn’s set.

on another note. This fest much like the “hardcore for hunger” seem to be one of those gigs where all videos fell into some kind of black hole. Tons of people with cameras but I was only able to ever track down the SOIA set.

The Freeze ringer shirt

While my colleagues are busy posting up seller incorrectthoughts tattered Sham 69 rags, they somehow missed this amazing The Freeze shirt. This one looks like it just jumped out of 1985. It has great fading, and I know you guys are into the red ringer. I am pretty sure this is an og jam, but if you know different, let’s hear it.

Battery – Until The Ringer

Is there anything more heinous than a ringer tee? I mean, I’d rather wear a navy tee than a ringer tee. In fact, I’d rather wear a navy Doughnuts XXL tee instead of a ringer tee. You know what I’m saying? But, god bless Conversion Records for putting out a 3 sided Battery ringer tee. They were stretching for that one. Gotta agree with alliedtrailers, we never see this one … in my opinion, for obvious reasons …

The Wrongside

The Wrongside is one of those bands that should only EVER sell XL or XXL tees. This band was hard hitting, and to keep up with that, they should have refused to sell any shirts smaller than XL. No Youth Larges, that’s for sure. And if you didn’t like it, tough shit. Morgado would have just stink eyed you until you had bought the XXL. I’m sure xourlastregretx would agree.

Granted, these shirts were all post LP era tees. That’s when the lineup was very fluid, and the shirts were coming in from all over the place. I think most of these were printed by Mission Merch. Not exactly my favorite TWS tees, especially the ringer. Fuckin ringers.

I’m so glad a video exists of these two sets. Fuck, such an excellent day.

Pantera – Do Not Want

Over the last few days, we’ve seen gems from randomhero123. This Pantera shirt is NOT A gem. For obvious reasons. I suppose, they can’t all be winners. Luckily, the seller has plenty of other great items. Make sure to check those ones out. Maybe check this one out for a giggle or two.

White Devil.

Janvanderdam always makes with the good stuff, and just as often with the rare stuff as well. And this White Devil ringer tee counts as rare stuff, as just about anything from this mid-90s Harley and Parris band with Bobby from Biohazard is pretty damn hard to find.

If you’re like me and have a soft spot for the hair metallish tendencies of later ‘mags records (which admittedly, have very low lows to go with the probably hairspray assisted highs), then you’ll probably actually be into White Devil, who combine that tendency with more than a little bit of I Against I Bad Brains riffage (plus one Ramonesish song, which just sticks out like a sore thumb). All of the White Devil songs actually ended up on the Revenge lp when Harley and Parris made a go at another ‘mags record, and along with the song Premeditated, they’re pretty much the only good things about that one.

No Warning

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness. It was a time of great shirts, it was a time of … not so great shirts. Courtesy of xapedrapex, you can have both. First up is the AMAZING longsleeve from No Warning. When this one dropped, kids were clobbering each other for them. Bridge 9 had to reproduce them eventually due to the popularity. Just a clean simple shirt.

Then there is this ringer tee. Yeah, a ringer tee. The graphic is pretty chill, and you can’t go wrong with the No Warning logo. But a ringer tee? Yikes, no thanks.
