Chain of Strength, The Sequel

We knew it was bound to happen. As soon as Rev announced these limited Chain shirts back in April, we just knew that they would soon end up on Ebay. This is the second one we’ve seen so far. Morgado covered the first one last week and prestoneleven gets the prestigious honor of being the second person to post one. Like the last one we saw, this one is also a Small so smaller dudes and dudettes this is for you. Classic and iconic image on both sides…at leas the seller doesn’t make up some story about how the shirt didn’t fit. For those of you attending the Rev 25th Anniversary, someone take a count of how many people wear this shirt that weekend.

New REV Chain Tee, Old Non-REV Chain Tee.

It was terribly obvious that this was gonna happen: one of the Revelation 25th Anniversary Chain Of Strength tees has shown up on the ‘bay, courtesy of rfo8…

Yes, this lttle baby is the shirt that crashed 1000 web browsers, not to mention the Rev site when it made it’s debut. It was limited to 200, so it can’t be a surprise that at least one person “bought the wrong size”. Quite frankly, I’m not all that impressed with it. So you’ve got a sloppy looking number screened under your hem and the lamest REV star ever, big deal. I hear the image quality is rather nice tho…

I honestly can’t say I wouldn’t have bought one, since I do like Chain, but I certainly wouldn’t have put myself through the stress that a lot of other people did trying to get their hands on one. If it was me, and I wanted a WHUA tee, I’d shoot my money over to knockoutnj instead, who has a Foundation Records logo’d tee up that, while of uncertain pedigree, is just as nice looking (arguably better, quite frankly, I do not care for those font changes) and given the ridiculous demand for the Rev tee, might just go for less…

If there’s anyway for him to figure out his tee’s pedigree (I’m making an educated guess that it is sans tag), he’d certainly like to know it (he has two other pics linked in his auction but the pics are too big to post here), so anyone with any advice feel free to post it up in the comments section.

Well if I was going to California for the Rev shows I would eat so much In N Out while being there. There is something magical about those burgers, or maybes its because I live on the East Coast and don’t get to experience them often. If you are not going to the Rev shows like myself you can sport the shirts of the bands you are bummed to be missing. Here are two navy Gorilla Biscuits shirts. Seller asone75 is selling a short sleeve and jnientertainment is selling a long sleeve.

Mouthpiece, The Sequel

Well drewtilldeath1986 did say he was going to relist this Mouthpiece shirt so here it is. Last week, he was selling this along with the green print design but pulled it early, telling us that he would relist it. Here it is…the more I look at it, the more I like it. Purple isn’t usually a color I would rock but I really dig this one especially with the purple Rev logo on the back. He says he got this in DC when they played with Youth Of Today which Im assuming was the beginning of last summer or right about that time.

True Till My Dead Body

Chain’s classic “True Till Death” design has been ripped off numerous times by all sorts of bands ranging from Earth Crisis to Paint It Black. Over My Dead Body took a stab at it as well and they did a pretty good job at it. They had a relatively long name (like Chain) so it fit well on the front of the shirt. The back is a little faded but it looks like the Indecision Records logo in the famous Rev star. vinyljunkiedistro has loads of stuff up covering a wide variety of genres so check it out.

Mouthpiece Duo

Last time we saw a variation of this Mouthpiece design, I asked for our readers to let me know if there any other variations. I was told they also made the print in red which means they were printed red, purple and green. Are they any others? drewtilldeath1986 is one of our regulars and he’s got two of the color variations including the green “Chain” print. Normally I shy away from purple but I kinda like it on the athletic gray tee. That huge Rev backprint is a sight to behold too. I like that they went with the same color variation of the star. They did something similar with this and a Kiss It Goodbye shirt way back when. Just an overall good look.

Boston Straight Edge

Pretty sure this was sold through Revelation towards the end of the band’s run but I could be wrong. Usually, the print on the back has started cracking at this point but fightback‘s doesn’t seem to be suffering from that fate which is a good thing. Great back print photo. This is our time!

Oh How Bold BIN

Look at this Bold shirt…absolutely beautiful. Me and white shirts tend to have a love hate relationship but this one hottdogg9000, I would make an exception for. They managed to fit 2 classic photos on one shirt…pretty impressive. I wonder where this going to go…a Buy it Now price has been set but I have a feeling this is going to push past that.

Oh the old piss gray Inside Out longsleeve. This was the other design Rev did for the band besides the black tee they still sell. Looks like it’s in good shape for it’s age. daysarelikeknives has more killer stuff so check it out.
