Outspoken Straight Edge

Not 100% on where this falls in the Outspoken timeline but judging by the fonts, I’m going with “Survival” era. Nice 4 sided print from richardbladeyourself who always keep his shirts clean and I’m waiting for him to go digging and pull out a “Proud To Be Poison Free” New Age tee for me…hint hint.

Another Outspoken tee we’ve seen in the past. Did they make this on any other color? Oof, I love the 90s and all but the color choices sometimes, not so much. I mean I applaud labels and bands for doing something outside the box but I could never wear this. $puck$‘s looks like it was worn quite a bit with some cracking on the back but could have some life left in it.

New Age Straight Edge x 3

Mike Hartsfield loves being straight edge. He’s made quite a few straight edge and vegetarian design for New Age Records but this is the first time I’ve seen this one before. 4 sided tee in which 3 of the sides are straight edge related…would wear proudly. beautystrk says it was picked up around 1990 which would be about the time the first Outspoken record came out…very early on in the label’s history. Also notice the lack of tribal designs that would come to flank the labels logo later on. Curious to see where this goes…again, if anyone has the “Proud to Be Poison Free” design, get at me.

Big Guns: Outspoken

Oh man, sinkler100 is bringing out some big guns. I love these two Outspoken tees. One is classic and never looks bad. The other just hardly ever pops up. You never see the winter tour tee. And the belly print? “Classic” 90′s styling. My only beef is the shipping amount. $12.50 is outrageous.

The 90s: An Experiment In Color, Part 3

I love the 90s, most of you probably know that about me but man some of the color choices for tees back then…what were we thinking? I couldn’t pull this mustard yellowish Outspoken shirt back then and I couldn’t do it now either. I love the design but the color just doesn’t work with me…maybe it’s yellow in general. Either way, barfight did a great job of keeping this look crisp and clean considering this shirt is nearing 20 years old.

Aspire. Ukraine Style

face_tomorrow is selling a shirt from Aspire. You’re probably saying “Who is Aspire?”. Well Aspire is part of the new Russian/Ukraine hardcore scene. Russia seems like the place everyone wants to go now so you might want to check out some of the bands coming out of there. Good hardcore in that Outspoken vein…if you’re into that sort of thing (I am).

4 Sided Survival Wizard Sleeves

face_tomorrow has a longsleeve Outspoken tee that we’ve seen a handful of times on here. This one looks to be in great shape minus a little bit of fading in the print. Great 4 sided print with a nice big Straight Edge sleeve…oh did I mention sleeves? Gandalf himself would be proud to wear this.

It must be the week to unload Outspoken shirts I’ve never seen before because it’s happening again. This time, my friend, crushedonyou III is bringing the “last show” shirt. 90-94 … and then 1998 … and then 2010 … and 2011 … Yikes. I’m super tempted to pick this one up, despite the note saying it’s navy blue. C’mon. This is black, right? Maybe concert grey?

I couldn’t find the 94 gig, but check the footage from DC. Digging it. How many of these kids do you think are still veg??

A Shirt In The Dark

Our very own xchipxsem is selling a shirt I’ve never seen before. I’m into it. Love the concert grey (thanks Chauncey) color. And you know you can’t go wrong with Outspoken. I’ve honestly never seen the LP artwork on a tshirt, but the back screams mid 90s. Seriously, what sort of placement is that? Spleen? Vertebrae #12? Wacky. You’d think it’d make a good shoulder blade print. Or you know what’d be even better? That’s right, a pocket print. This shirt feels totally backwards. Murina tag? Good old mid 90s.

Ive made no attempt to hide the fact that I dont give a shit about Outspoken but we here at TTD try post up a little bit of everything. Just because I dont like doesnt mean you wont. In the end it all works out better for you as there is just one less person in the mix to bid the shirt up. I dont know if these are good starting prices or not but I think 80std195 has them a little high
