I know Nate is getting tired of reading about OFWGKTA, but I wanted to make sure I gave Julian a shout out. I spent a bit of time over the weekend hanging out with this dude, shooting the shit at the TTD table or behind the stage. Solid dude. Good to meet Kira too. Hope those cupcakes made up for some of the hassle of the day. As for this tshirt, feel free to snag it from mpatterson317. The Dertbag Design crew made VERY few of these, and people always lose their shit over them. Good luck.

This video came up in my feed reader the other day. This exact picture. You know I watched. And if you look at the picture below, you know why I watched.
Shout outs to @coldaslucas (grab the tee featuring his mug here) and the rest of OFWGKTA (and @MikePatterson_ for pointing the tee out). If you want to look like the crew, go ahead and scoop this tee from mpatterson317.
Free Spirit + Free Earl = Free Doug Free?
A pair of “Free” tees from a seller named after the wrong Youth of Today song, and I gotta wonder: since Free Spirit tees keep turning up in connection to Odd Future (sup Lucas), why hasn’t Free Spirit gone for a Free Earl homage tee? You’ve got Doug Free and the Free Doug Free catchphrase from last year RIGHT THERE!
Odd & Future & Tees & Lockin & Out &…
Say what you want about Odd Future, you have to admit: there’s something awesome about a group of teenagers who fully create their own franchise, and whose shows are essentially the rap version of a hardcore show: high energy, with stage diving, pitting, and sing a longs. Not so awesome: this take on the also not awesome SO & SO AND SO & SO AND SO & SO tees…
That is a LOT of names to cram on a tee. I’m sure that’s the gag, but since I hate the original tees in the first place, it’s wasted on me. Tagging the auction with Lockin Out was a cute touch though, but if he wants this to rake in some of that OF hype money, seller akashalashaska might want to fix the spelling error in his title…
Lets Talk About Odd Future
When we talk about OFWGKTA, I can see two or three responses. Anyone over the age of 25, I would expect a “huh?” And then it’s split on the younger than 25 crowd. It’ll either be “fucking rad” or “fuck those guys.” I expect either adoration, hatred or complete ignorance. I don’t think there is any middle ground on this one.
For those not in the know, Odd Future is a crew from Los Angeles. They are a loosely affiliated rap crew (think Wu-Tang or Dipset style) with loads of mixtapes. It’s a young crew too. Ages range from 17 to early 20s. Their style is definitely more Wu-Tang than Dipset though — hard style. And for you older heads, you may be wondering why I’m bothering to bring this up. Well, it turns out these dudes are all hardcore affiliated. I’m not sure how connected to the scene they are, but dudes have been spotted in Free Spirit AHC tees. You can’t go wrong with that. I’m also fairly certain members of this crew are down with the straight edge, at least Tyler The Creator is. Not bad. And for a kid who has over one hundred thousand twitter followers, has appeared on the cover of Billboard magazine and has performed on Jimmy Fallon, I think this is pretty significant.
What are your thoughts? Good, bad, or ignorant. Apparently someone loves them based on the prices of these auctions. A Free Earl Sweatshirt sweatshirt. Get it?
And this Supreme hat is blowing up because of Tyler wearing it in this video. Wild.
Maybe Julian can chime in and clear some of this up. What do you got, Julian?

Odd Future & Julian Berman & Dertbag Design
I was surfing Google Reader this morning when I came across an article about Julian Berman. I had heard about this kid through the core grapevine, but didn’t know much about him. The first picture told me everything I needed to know, this dude is down. Shout outs to Wilkes-Barre Hardcore and stray rats. Good way to go. And then I came across this Odd Future tee from moonlightblue. I’d be lying if I told you I fully understood Odd Future and Tyler The Creator/ Fuck Tyler. I dig the sound, just can’t figure out where the hype came from. One of my favorite comments lately was about how Tyler had fucked the cheap Supreme hat market. Made me laugh. But this shirt is pretty chill. Supposedly limited to ten. Created by the Dertbag Design Crew. Which apparently, is composed of one savvy 16 year old dude from CT. Grindin!
Or if you are Tre, I suggest grabbing this tie dyed Odd Future tshirt instead.
