TUI Till I Die

soulcraft1977 is responsible for putting out one of my favorite records of recent memory that wasnt a friends band. That record being Trapped Under Ice “secrets of the world.” Its the first record I preordered in like over 5 years. After getting hooked on the “stay cold” ep I heard a teaser for the LP and was hooked. Still listen to that LP regularly. I also had the fortune of seeing them on tour here in Japan. They did a short 4 date tour with a friends band and I went along to help with some translating. Had a blast. Shows were good. Dudes in TUI were cool and down to earth. All around great time.

I dont normally go for “rip-off” graphics but I can make an exception

Merauder x2

Whats better than one Merauder shirt? Thats right two Merauder shirts! Again an offering from soulcraft1977. We have posted extensively about Merauder tees here but I dont think we have ever posted this first one. It looks like it comes from a comic book I would like to read! WHo wouldnt want to read about a zombie samurai master killer on the brooklyn bridge?

Whenever I see this design I think back to a family vacation when I was a beb to San Diego. During this trip we took a day trip to Tijuana and my parents were cool enought to let me and my brother buy throwing stars!! We both got one in this same exact shape. I got a black one and my brother got a gold one. Probably the coolest present next to a BB gun you can get a small child! My parents def regretted that choice when we proceeded to make a million holes in the sheet rock of our bedroom walls. We proceeded to regret making those holes when we had to help spackle and paint the walls later on.

Mind Eraser

We havent had a Mind Eraser shirt up in a hot minute either. Is the mind eraser trend over? There was a hot minute where their shirts would go for a hefty price. Unlike a lot of trends in modern HC all the hype behind this band is completly justified. Mind Eraser rips and if you dont think so you probably dont have ears and I dont want to be friends with you. They are truly a “Unity” band. They have fans that cross all lines from crusts to posmen to metalheads and everything in between. Collective Consciousness still gets regular airplay in my house. The one thing I dont know from liviing abroad is if Mind Eraser is still active? I hope the answer is Yes! Thanks to soulcraft1977 for posting this up.

icegrillz05 is a familiar face here at TTD. Dude sells so much clothes he might have to go naked soon enough. Up for grabs now is a personal favorite. Perfect for winter. I actually really love this design and i think this color combo looks great. On top of that the LP rules too. One of the best of the 2000′s. Youre high as a kite if you dont think so. Whos got a test press for me??

the Blood, the Honor, the Truth

This is a shirt we have seen before a bunch of time. Prices vary but usually nothing to crazy. I expect this to go a little lower than usual because of the sizing. I think usually it ranges from $50-70. Its a dope shirt but I like the other shirt from this tour with the cartoon draing of a crucified jesus against an american flag. If anyone has that for trade/sale holler at me! Im gonna go listen to AF right now.dbdms

Shall Be Judged

Thank you to loop88 for making my job(hobby) easier and giving me so many things to write about recently.
One time my friend and fellow stage diver Ed Heley got some free tickets from his college radio station to see Orange 9mm at Toad’s Place in New Haven CT. We didnt really give a shit about Orange 9mm at that point in time but we had nothing much else to do. There was also a Fastbreak basement show in New Haven that same night so we decided to check out the Orange 9mm gig first in hopes of seeing a Burn cover. Obviously cause we were imature dicks so we heckled Burn songs throughout the set. Finally when Ed yelled “shall be judged” Chaka just replied “guilty” and we knew there was no Burn covers in the cards so we decided to head over to the Fastbreak. At this time there was a No Stagediving policy at club so what better way to leave then by private security escort. So we both started diving and got kicked out by the bouncers. Then we headed over to the Fastbreak basement gig and were stoked because there was also an impromptu BreakFaith reunion gig. Overall A+ night.

I dont know why alfredo_gutierrez would sell this? Its awesome. Some consider this to be the last really great Madball LP. Not that the others are bad but that this one was a real ripper. Me personally, I love this LP and depending how I feel that day I would sometimes put it just after Set It Off in terms of my favorite Madball records. Hoya wrote the riff for Set It Off which might be my favorite riff of the 90s. That whole record is incredible. If I didnt already have 2 madball hoodies I would be scooping this and not posting it

Go support Madball and pick up their new cd or check them out on tour and buy some merch to the band that brought you the gift of “Collassal Man”

This is a great Madball shirt. What more could you really ask for? Classic Madball logo. Great looking back. Not a weird color(ir natural or hunter green). This shirt gets an A+
Are shirts from 1996 conisdered vintage now? How long does it take before a shirt is vintage. 1996 doesnt sound that old but its been 14 fucking years. time flies way to fast. Helpeverythingsuperfan look less cool while makiing your self look way cooler.

Shut Up Punk!

Some shirts are so cool that it doesnt matter if they are reprints or not. This is one of them. Sheer Terror+Sean Taggart = WIN. I love this shirt so much. I have it in a little bit different color scheme. Mine is a black shirt too but the graphic is all in black and white with fluorescent orange highlights and it has some tour info on the back. Sheer Terror recently played a few shows and I myself was psyched. When I saw them they were very tight, good amount of banter without over doing it, and all hit songs. Chatting breifly with Paul it seemed like he was super excited to be back playing Sheer Terror songs again. I hope I get to see them again. I dont know why xdeathtoallx would sell this.

What a fucking good record the first Hatebreed LP is. Even taking out all the good times, amazing shows, riots, stagedives,etc… that I associate with this record out of the equation it still kills. If you dont like Hatebreed then we are probably not really ever going to be friends. I dont know if pickyourkingdc reads this site of not but he makes note that there is no Victory bulldog on the shirt at all. According to him Victory didnt provide them with shirts for tour in time so they printed these up themselves. The victory version also has a different font for the back. Older Hatebreed shirts are coming up less and less and searching for them on ebay is becoming more and more annoying to sift through all the mass produced newer shirts(not that they are bad its just not what I want to find).
