Mental / Get Down Tour Tshirt

When I saw a listing pop up for a Mental / Get Down tour tshirt, I was pretty confused. But after seeing the picture, I realized it wasn’t me who was confused, it was Marlon. I fired him an email letting him know that this wasn’t a two band tour shirt, but rather a shirt where Morgado could profess his love for Supertouch. Marlon responded that he would update the post, but since there are bids on it already, I’m guessing he was blocked. But just let it be know, this isn’t a tour tee for two bands. Nope. But it is a solid Mental tshirt drawn by our own morGODo.

The Wrongside

The Wrongside is one of those bands that should only EVER sell XL or XXL tees. This band was hard hitting, and to keep up with that, they should have refused to sell any shirts smaller than XL. No Youth Larges, that’s for sure. And if you didn’t like it, tough shit. Morgado would have just stink eyed you until you had bought the XXL. I’m sure xourlastregretx would agree.

Granted, these shirts were all post LP era tees. That’s when the lineup was very fluid, and the shirts were coming in from all over the place. I think most of these were printed by Mission Merch. Not exactly my favorite TWS tees, especially the ringer. Fuckin ringers.

I’m so glad a video exists of these two sets. Fuck, such an excellent day.

Stick Together Redo

Yesterday, Morgado did you dirty. He half assed his Stick Together post, and I’m not going to stand for it. His real mistake was not showing the picture of the front (or is that the back??) of the shirt being sold by butchery66. That’s just plain disrespectful. Enjoy it below then read on for other Stick Together gems.

No More Games? C’mon, that’s sharp! How dare he not show that one! Weak sauce, Morgado, weak sauce.

Lets bring back the PMA with this great demo tshirt. A great one sided gem. Cushman is a big proponent of the one sided tshirt. This is an excellent showing, but I’m sure Cushman would complain about the graphic size. Plus, you know this color screams CASALI!

And what about this more recent shirt? Great color scheme. White ink on a red tee. Smart choice. Throw in that navy blue on the back, solid. I can support navy blue ink. It’s not the whole shirt, afterall.

Sleeveless Saturday BINs

I’m glad you all have been enjoying Sleeveless Saturday. And when I saw “all of you,” I mean, that one guy who gave me the thumbs up. Since I haven’t heard any dissent, I’m just going to assume that the rest of you are enjoying it as much as that guy. If your name is Morgado, I know you are enjoying this day. Dude loves no sleeves. So to wrap the day up, lets have a look at a few BINs from ragingbull20.

True Colors – Straight Edge. Dig it.

Bracewar army. Tough style, great color. Sorry Morgado.

Trapped Under Ice. Graffiti. Good look.

xTTDx

Well, well, well. What do you know? Someone is selling a super limited edition Tee Till Death hooded sweatshirt. Check it out in all it’s glory.

Not really, of course. This hood belongs to the band To This Day. I’m not sure who this band is, but I bet it has something to do with these dudes.

Can someone give me a legitimate reason for those cones on the floor? xTTDx released an album in 2006 on 1981 Records (and that website doesn’t appear to have been updated since 2006 too …) and then … not much. I think I’ll get this hood for Morgado, cut the sleeves off and tell him to bulk up. Good plan.

Its OK not to wear sleeveless

coinandpapermoney brings us something we dont see too often on TTD, a Positive Peer Pressure shirt. Its a nice change of pace. Unfortunately for me it is sleeveless but that is good news for you as I wont be bidding on it. I think Morgodo should get this. Seller has some weirdo instructions in the description about taking offers for $50 bucks for it? Dont know why he didnt just put a buy it now price. I dont think the fees would have been that much different. Check it out yourself or get your bids in before he pulls it! yikes

Editor’s Note: This is the same guy who had previously featured PPP shirts with an original shirt pic AND a React Records shirt pic. Buyer Beware!

Floorpunch Sound And Fury 2009

Over the last few years, Floorpunch has been hitting it hard around the globe. Unofficially, they played their Final, Final Show over the weekend. We’ll see if that lasts. In the last 10 years, I’ve seen more scab lineup FP gigs than I ever saw OG lineup FP gigs. A little funny. But you know the FP crew never fails to impress. In 2009, they rolled out to Sound And Fury. I was jealous. Before rolling, they screened up all sorts of special gig merch. This tee would be one of those. I never got one, but am hoping to scoop this one from bcox631. We shall see. Shoot outs to morGODo on the surfing mosh man.

Painted Sky

My favorite review of the most recent Supertouch gig came from our very own morGODo. It was a very telling review, and it called it like he saw it. In terms of show reviews, I’ve got morGODo’s back. He’s never once lead me astray. And I appreciate that. His review on the Livewire Records Message Board is exactly what I’m talking about. It doesn’t hurt that another individual tries to tear him down for HIS OPINION. Of course, the age card gets pulled, and someone mistakenly assumes morGODo is 21 or under. Worth an LOL, truly.

Check this Painted Sky tshirt from kak88981. Can’t believe no one has pounced on that BIN yet, really. Then again, in my opinion, this shirt isn’t that awesome. I’m sure NFJ would disagree.

I’ve Been Feelin Pretty Good Today

The other night I got to see The Wrongside. It was almost Dumptruck actually. With Morgado singing and Dooks on guitar, it felt like old times. Or at least, half of old times. Songs I wish they had played: Ink Leaves The Fist. Damn good song. Two Words. It was good to see Morgado. He bought a death threat shirt off of me. Good look for a good dude.

Peep thenorcalmerchman’s other auctions for more gems. Dude really holds it down for Oakland merchmin.

You’re On The Wrong Side!

This tshirt was printed for the last Wrong Side show “ever.” Posi #s 2005 in Wilkes-Barre PA.

It came in two flavors. Black with white ink and Black with pink ink. Personally, I prefer the pink ink version. I’m not 100% positive, but I think the pink was more rare, too.

morGODo ended up selling all of these while sitting next to me. He was real stoked on his pre-packaged roast beef slices. He was ready to jam.

But as you may recall, they never got to play.

Of course, this means they have played four or five “last” shows since then.

Good times.
