The coolest Samhain shirt ever

This is one that might slip under some peoples radar. Its been printed and reprinted and bootlegged countless times. But lek_vintage has here an original Samhain Initium shirt. How can you tell you ask? Well the Screen Stars tag and the fact that its got only 2 colors of ink. The original shirts made by Plan 9/the band were like that. Why its in Thailand I have NO idea, but I would consider this a good deal if youre a Misfits/Samhain collector

Tees And Prices Both Good And Bad.

As Jaybil has noted several times prior this week, seller rossbeetrev’s auctions have been a pretty interesting mix. Some things have been good, some things have been bad, and the same applies to his start prices. This Dead Kennedys tee is actually legit this time, putting it in the former on the first category, but alas the start is so high that it hits the bad category there…

This Misfits tee has a low start, but even though Jay would like me to fart on it due to it being from Michael Graves era Misfits (aka not the Misfits), I kinda like it. Cool design, cool color scheme… I even like the Fiend Club back print. A win in both columns if you ask me, despite being from an era of the band that was far from a win…

And then there’s the 7 Seconds “Soulforce Revolution” tee. Both hideous AND started high. You know what I have to say about that, don’t you Jay?

I agree with Jay Bil about this Misfits boot: Sausage probably has a whole box of them stashed away. Where we disagree though is that I would rather have this one than the sleeveless version he posted the other day. You know, the one with the $89.99 price tag? No thanks, especially not when this one is a third of the price right now, and in great condition.

same seller –\.rossbeetrev but much cooler. I dont know much about Misfits shirts but it is on an old Screen Stars. This one has no sleeves left on it so I think Morgado should be foaming at the mouth. If the shirt is real I think its a very good look. I bet Dave Sausage has a whole box of these

burnseraph says this is an original Misfits shirt. I dont know if its real or not. On one hand its on a screen stars shirt. On the other hand its pretty fucking crispy. It almost looks like it was printed on some old deadstock shirt. I dont think Ive ever seen this particular design on a bootleg though. Then again I feel like Ive only seen original misfits shirts on white or black shirts. If it is a real Misfits shirt then I think that BIN is probably pretty good. I dont know dick about MisFits gear.
Also looking at the pics again. Is it just me or does that screen stars tag look a little weird??

Another one that’s ending in a couple hours, this one an old tie dye looking Misfits tee from one of our non-sketchy Thai sellers from Metal Monday yesterday, supradosuprado.

We’ve seen this one a couple times before, it usually does well. And yes, that’s Pushead artwork betwixt it’s tie dyed sides.

Actual Vintage Punk Tees.

I really wanted to strike while the iron was hot and post these legitimately vintage punk tees (not like the ones you can buy at Hot Topic, but actual from the 80s tees) that are up for sale from seller midgetsubs up as soon as I saw them yesterday, but it was Metal Monday, and I was already bending my own rules by posting tees from bands that straddle the line between hardcore and metal, rather than those firmly entrenched in the Metal camp. So hopefully in that 24 hours, these awesome items haven’t blown up beyond anyone’s price tag…

The Misfits tee is actually a home made tee from back in the day, but it’s a damn nice one, and making your own tees was a regular thing back then. I actually won a Black Flag tee way back in 1999 that someone had made in their art class in 1987.

Misfits shirt of a Pushead nature?

Please tell me that I am not mistaken and this does in fact look like a Pushead designed Misfits tye dye shirt? I am obviously not a Misfits shirt expert, but this one seems pretty cool to me. Of course the seller provides NO information other than sizing. Figures.

When it comes to rip off designs, we’ve basically seen them all. There isn’t much new to offer in that vein. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy a good rip off design (Backtrack Raw Deal shirt for one), but most are just played out. And others somehow manage to find a bit of originality. Take this shirt from in4mation. While not strictly TTD fodder (perhaps more appropriate for skatenoize.com), in4mation is a street brand from Hawaii. But this shirt speaks to the inner TTD nerd. Morrissey x Misfits. It sort of makes sense in a weird twisted way. There aren’t too many other “hardcore idols” that stand higher than those two. Interesting little match up. So go ahead and grab this shirt from fit_philadelphia. Moz and Danzig would surely not approve.
