I’m out to celebrate my mom-to-be. The big plans are ice cream. Maybe Like No Udder, maybe Cabbots. Don’t know. But one way or another, I’m going to get fat. Last night, I had two cupcakes. And today, ice cream. I’m definitely going to need these Mindset sweatpants from xmaulx. I can feel my jeans getting tighter already.

Big fan of Alert. Big fan of mikexpuffer. Dude is selling a Mindset crewneck on ebay. And you KNOW I’m a big fan of crewnecks. Also a big fan of Mindset. Sadly, not a big fan of navy …Of course, that didn’t stop me from picking one up the last time Mindset came through. Gotta support those bands!

Mindset Longsleeves

I love Mindset. And it appears itsxdead does too. He has some excellent longsleeves up on ebay now. Plus one or two (or three or four) short sleeves. This is a good thing for all of us. I don’t get to see Mindset often enough. And as far as I can recall, I’ve only seen them once. Like I said, not enough. Luckily, I got to hang with Mike a few months back. It was awesome.

Now these longsleeves are fucking amazing. Check them out. Lots of straight edge pride, lots of good looks. West Coast 2008 tour. Amazing. We can only hope they bring such awesome gear to Sound And Fury. Keep your fingers crossed.

MINDSET

Later tonight, I’m seeing Rampage, Step Forward, Give, Lion Of Judah and a slew of other great bands.

I’m pretty frigging excited. It’s been too long since my last show. I miss the gig vibe.

But not only are amazing bands playing, but my friends (from SF, from Boston) from Maryland are coming up for the gig. My friend Sarah moved to Maryland a while back and I don’t think I’ve seen her in years. But her and her boyfriend are coming for the gig. I miss these people.

What’s all of this have to do with Mindset?

Well, well, well. Wouldn’t you know it, her boyfriend plays in Mindset. Very chill dude. Great edge and LOVES the core. In fact (and obviously), ALL those dudes love the core. They support it wholeheartedly, and I can get behind that.
