Thrash Metal In 1985: You Weren’t There

Let’s face it: more bands needs dudes who looks like wizards or titans on their shirts. More bands also need wizards slaying dragons airbrushed on the side of their vans. Okay now that that’s out of the way, who would you have killed to be at this show back in 1985? Look at that lineup…let’s just take a quick inventory:

Metallica: In between “Ride the Lightning” and “Master of Puppets”
Exodus: “Bonded By Blood”
Metal Church: “In between the self titled and “The Dark”
Megadeth: “Killing Is My Business…”

Not too shabby. touringstore2011 has a tee commemorating that show. We’ll just go ahead and assume that this was a legit item (i.e., not sold in the parking lot) and I think more bands need to get a good look at this. More ripped titans on shirts please. Anyone go to this one?

Two Out Of Four.

We once again turn to seller wyco_vintage today, as they have another shared metal tee to go with the Clash of the Titans tee we showed you to start off the day. That tee had all of the bands from the “Big 4″ tour currently going around except for Metallica. This one has Metallica, and Megadeth to make it two out of 4. Rounding out the bill for this one are Exodus and Metal Church…

Unlike the last tee though, this one has a regular old low start price, probably because this seller has a SECOND one with a 375 dollar BIN. Yeesh. Maybe when this one doesn’t come close to that, he’ll drop the price. Or not. Probably not.
