Seller easywind16 is bringing me a nice little memory of high school. This Mental stay true to your school longsleeve was a favorite among my small group of friends in school. Not too much action on this shirt, you might be able to get it without a fight.

Jay Bil Is Chill.

I finally got to check out resident TTD chill dude Jay Bil’s new apartment this week, and it’s chill. And while we were there, and this is a good example of how chill a guy Jay Bil is, he pranked me and snuck a Late Night Revenge 7 inch into the Boston Strangler lp he had got for me, based off a conversation we had had like 4 hours earlier about people sneaking records they don’t want off on you when you win a record from them. Dude had that idea in his head FOUR hours and didn’t let on. Chillest dude. Even chiller: his one eyed Japanese alley cat, Kat Jong Il. Chiller than all tho is the 1-25-03 tee he did. Seller savagelacix631 has the yellow one up for sale right now…

JK, Kat Jong Il is actually the chillest of all. Dude only has one eye. Hard.

Mental Crew, New York Knick Blue.

Speaking of camo Mental Crew tees, I was one of the lucky few who was gifted one by the mighty Jay Bil at the Planet Mental release. Unfortunately, by the end of the show, mine mysteriously vanished. It’s been upsetting me for years now. There’ve been one or two false sightings, but at this point it’s probably changed hands for a good sum of money a bunch of times. Very, very upsetting stuff. BUT I’m finally getting my hands on a replacement. In the true spirit of “crew”, Jay scrounged one up for me: his own. Almost literally giving me the shirt off his back. Best news in a long time. I love you Jay Bil.

Just a little Mental

Seller averylynn and I have a slight connection… we are both Lynns and we are both small. I remember when Get an Oxygen Tank came out and I believe that you could get these purple shirts through Bridge9, but I remember seeing blue ones too. I think other stores could get the blue ones. Purple is obviously cooler than blue though, so this one wins. This is totally worth the $4, calling all tiny people!

Dead End Path: Skinhead Army

Was this Dead End Path “Agnostic Front” rip a one off design or did they sell this for a while? I only recall 2 time that the band came this far south and I don’t remember them having this either time. Did they make this for a fest? Of all the bands that have done this rip, I think Mental’s take was my favorite. sickloser15 has some more killer stuff up and is trying to pay off some student loans so help them out.

Planet Mental

Here we have a Planet Mental era shirt for sale by drewtilldeath1986. He also has a picture of the back of the shirt in the auction, its pretty much the same design as the front. If I could have any shirt from that record it would be the glow in the dark shirt I think, I like that design the most. The record release show was so much fun and probably is in a top 10 show list of mine if I had one.

Stand Accused was only around for a short period of time but man was that demo good. Who knew Ian had that kinda voice in him? I was at a show last weekend and we were talking about how good this thing was and lo and behold, jingletownvinyl has one of their shirts up. Anyone know how many designs they had? I think it was only 2 but I could be wrong.

Normally Mental shirts go for decent prices and sometimes you can find a deal for one under 20 bucks. When a shirt normally goes for around 20 dollars its usually after bidding. I think when fightback started it at $19.99 he lost a lot of people that would have bid on the shirt. With only a couple days left on this, you could probably scoop this up with a decent chance at getting it for the opening price.

Well I remember when I was in high school a bunch of kids wore this shirt around. It was an awesome hardcore shirt to have in the early/mid 00s. It came in a few different colors and melissabluejean has white/red. I think the yellow one might have been my favorite of this shirt.
