Tags Matching: Lars Sucks

One more post of classic sleeveless metal mayhem from theverdictsin, and since these are all shirts from the best known metal band of all time, I figured they deserved their own separate post.

Let’s get started, shall we?

Don’t see this one out on the hessian filled streets too often, which is a shame because it’s actually one of my favorite Pushead designs for the band. Of course, in part that’s probably because the more popular ones have been mass produced ad nauseum. Def the most punk looking shirt they ever made, tho I wish it was on black instead of white. More metal, less pit stains.

This is a design that I love, and have, albeit on a mass produced late 90s non baseball jersey too thick tee. I would absolutely prefer it on an actual vintage tee, or at least a tee that’s not so thick it can stop a thrashing mosher’s leather jacket spike. A baseball tee though… cool as it looks, they’ve never looked good on me. Maybe it’s because instead of no sleeves, they have more sleeves.

Now, you actually have two available options for the back print of the And Justice For All shirt shown above (he’s selling two, both sleeveless):

Lars…

Or no Lars.

Me, I’d go with no Lars. While the Pushead drawing is awesome, Lars is just too creepy and toadish to have staring back at me from the laundry pile.

And we wrap things up with one of the oldest Metallica shirts out there, so old it’s got the Metal Militia copyright on it…

So awesome. Have I mentioned how much I love that almost all of theverdictsin‘s tees are sleeveless? I can totally picture him thrashing around back in the day while wearing any of these with a bullet belt and a judge’s wig. It adds an air of authenticity that so few auctions have in the age of flippers and “vintage stores”.
