Trouble really is so easy to find

Also like trouble, this shirt is pretty easy to find too. Out of all the Jagz merch, you will probably see this shirt that yeeahdude is selling the most. When talking about Lockin Out stuff you don’t hear them come up the most, but people really love them. They always blew off playing shows, but sold merch anyways, I always get a kick of out that.

Jagz Boston

I feel like every time I went to a show Jaguarz was supposed to play they never actually played, but merch was being sold. Not that I was really upset or anything about that, it’s just something that always stood out in my mind when I think of them. Seller xyouthoftodayx is selling a worn shirt of theirs, but their shirts always seem to be popular so I’m sure whoever wins this one won’t mind letting it take an Oxyclean bath.

The Late Night Bins

Some late night BINs from a favorite seller of ours, taylorkc. He’s always got a BIN going, usually in wearable sizes. These BINs are just ok. Prices aren’t making me jump out of my chair, but if you are looking for any of these, the price is probably right. Go!

(wish I had this in an XL)

Trouble’s So Easy To Find Twice

Seller taylorkc always is putting up gems. This time around, he’s got two tshirts from the criminally underrated Lockin Out band, Jaguarz. Owen Black’s my dog. Solid crew all around. Two shirts for Buy It Nows. According to the seller, the yellow is limited. It very well may be. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that color. The green one is the one I recall (yes, it’s double sided). Can’t recall the yellow. I’ll see if we can pin Owen down with some numbers.

Trouble’s So Easy To Find … On Your Birthday!

Our boy Owen’s bday wasn’t that long ago. But due to a lack of relevant tees, we had to hold off wishing him a happy bday. BUT NOW, we’re in the clear. Thanks to viciousskin, we now have reason to mention Owen. Dude is strictly chill. And if you aren’t reading Trumbull, you are doing yourself a disservice. Must have RSS feed. Happy belated Birthday Owen. Of course, Owen was the lead singer of Jaguarz … but you guys already knew that. Such a great tee. Solid color choice and great font. Obviously my favorite Jagz tee.

Jungle Jamz

Jaguarz. Perhaps the most underrated and overlooked Lockin Out band of that era. It’s hard to stand in the shadows of Mental, Stop And Think, Righteous Jams, Justice, DUMPTRUCK, … Real hard.

But this band wasn’t made up of slouches, not even close. Owen Black of Trumbull Island fame lead this crew. Rich Perusi of The Dedication / Sex Positions played drums. Steb from The First Step joined on bass. Nervous Luke, currently in Waste Management, got lots of air with his axe and Mr. Jeff Pickett rounded out the crew. They toured, they moshed, they dived. Crew was tight.

But since they only released a demo and a track on Sweet Vision comp, it seems they have been easily ignored. For shame, people! That demo is awesome. It got many, many spins in my cars tape deck. And I didn’t have a lot of tapes in my car. ON PURPOSE. I only wanted GOOD stuff in my car for road trips and pre-gig car mosh (along with the Stop And Think demo, Rampage demo, …).

Great band, cool shirts. This is an early one. It also came on white. Little people, get into it!

I’d suggest buying all of littlexlynn’s auctions. Killing Time & Raw Deal tees aren’t cheap, you know! Good luck with those auctions, Lynn. Continue reading »

Jagz shirt and Lockin Out Records Number One Fanzine #2

A bit of a Lockin Out Records post. First up is a Jaguarz shirt. Worst band name. Best Demo name?(Jungle Jamz). A short lived but popular Loc band with tons of merch.

Lockin Out Records Number One Fanzine #2. I love this zine. Such a great read and from such a good point in HC(summer 2003). Read this and get super nostalgic. Plus shootout to a great cover pic of Joey C
