My buddy Adrian and I were discussing Iron Maiden yesterday and we both agreed that “The Wicker Man” was the only song that the band did post “Fear of The Dark” that was good. I don’t dislike their later material but if I have a choice, I’m not putting on the Blaze Bayley records (yes I know the Wicker Man has Bruce on vocals). One thing that never dropped off was Maiden’s amazing t-shirt artwork. lovableguy has a couple of designs here from the later era Maiden…look at that Wicker Man design. Seriously killer…looks so much like something that would have come out in the mid-late 80s.
How about a “Somewhere Back In Time” tour design? This was printed up for the tour, 22 years after Somewhere In Time came out. 1986 was such a good year for metal.
