Holy crap this tour was almost 10 years ago. I may be in the minority but I like when bands print the dates on the back of their tees. Just a nice reminder of where they were when you saw them…this one goes the extra mile and adds the bands who played the tour with them. I approve. Anyone see them on this trip? vinyljunkiedistro has a load of other shirts up so check it out.

Impact, Edge Week 2002 & Back To School Jam
I’ve been looking at this Impact tshirt from itsxdead for a few days, and each time, I scratch my head. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? On the back of this tshirt, it shows a “Boston, MA” date. 10/26/2002. This even was the Back To School Jam. But here’s the issue. It wasn’t in Boston. It was in Framingham.
October 26, 2002 @Framingham City Hall Framingham Mass: BTSJ VI: Blood For Blood, Slapshot, Stars and Stripes, Converge, Reach The Sky, Panic, No Warning, Count Me Out, Fit For Abuse, Impact, Some Kind Of Hate
So here’s where my memory has fucked me. Did Impact make a shirt with the wrong location weeks in advance, or did the show move from Boston to Framingham at the last minute? I honestly cannot recall. Who remembers?? PS. How fucking rad was that gig? Shout outs to Ian Larrabee. King.
Mastering the Art of Selling in Lots
So you’ve got a hot lot on your hands and you want to sell it on ebay?
That’s great.
You’ve written up great descriptions of each item, INCLUDING how you came to own them?
Excellent.
You’ve taken individual pictures of every item in your lot?
That’s great too.
BUT
You may want to consider putting the most “valuable” tshirt as the default image.
In this case, the following 3 shirts are in a lot. Which pic do you think the buyer sees as they scroll down the search results?
If you guessed A, you are correct. If you guessed B, you should have been correct. No disrespect to Ian and Co, but I’m saying, from the seller’s standpoint, the American Nightmare tee is the gem of the lot and should be the item that gets the most attention.
ps. Great Impact tee. Big fan. Continue reading
Ending Soon – Impact OC Straight Edge
Listen.
Do you have $5? Maybe you can skip that next mocha frappachinno. Or perhaps don’t get that giant soda and chips with your next burrito. Just drink water, it’s better for you anyway.
If you have $5, you can probably scoop this tee for cheap. And dumb if you don’t.
Impact. Orange Country Straight Edge. Black tee, white font. GREAT look.
IMPACT / Stand and Fight longsleeve
The IMPACT demo(cd I believe) came to me in a dream. No, actually Greg Bacon sold me a copy at one of the Posi #’s by the railroad tracks.
This Demo hit me hard. It had personal lyrics, raw production and lots of the EDGE.
Here is a longsleeve that was probably purchased that weekend. Crisp, straight forward design that does not need much explaining. I had one of these at one point, but it is apparently lost in the shuffle of my closet.
IMPACT morphed into Stand and Fight at some point, reasons unknown to me. I didn’t like it. If you know the lowdown on the name change, drop a comment.
