When Cave In released “Jupiter” in 2000, hundreds of kids said “What is this?”, completely unsure of what they’d just bought. After a handful of 7 inches and splits, the band released “Until Your Heart Stops” and blew the doors on everyone. The follow up, “Creative Eclipses”, was heading in the direction of “Jupiter” but no one was prepared for the space rock that followed. Many people resisted, myself included, but eventually came around and could appreciate the band for what they had become. thenitsthebomb is selling a shirt from the Jupiter era of the band that looks to be in good shape minus a couple of small bleach stains. I kinda dig the silver ink…good look. The front also bears the Hydra Head name so we can assume this was printed by the label. Scoop this up for your next trip to outer space…or the planetarium.
