Bane Zip Up Navy with White Stitched Letters

The zipped hooded sweatshirt. Some people love them, some people hate them.

I’m of a mixed opinion. I like a quality hood. Sometimes the zipped hood meets my needs. But sometimes, it gets all wrinkled up near the pockets, and that’s just not a good look.

I’m going out on a limb and saying Bane popularized this style. They weren’t the first band, but I think they were the first band to blow them up. That and the AN zip hood. The rest is history …

Now for this hood, the seller is claiming it’s the first zip hood Bane made. I’m calling him out on that. Not true. Seriously. Navy sucks. The first Bane hood was a black one with stitched letters. Black, not navy.

But it’s cool, still a dope hood.

Shoes > Hardcore?

Nah, not so much.

When was the last time you drove over 400 miles for a pair of sneakers with a car full of your best friends? Hell, when was the last time you drove 20 miles for a pair of sneakers alone? Yeah, like I said, hardcore > shoes.

Also, does the hood on this sweatshirt look like absolute shit? This is perhaps the world’s smallest hood. Remind me to avoid Hanes Comfortblend like it was black death. Hopefully it’s just terrible pics. If you win this one, let me know, please.

He’s cooler than me. For obvious reasons. Probably not cooler than Jaybil though.

He already owns this hood. You won’t have to fight him for it. That’s good for you because he is relentless when it comes to WW gear. I don’t own any Wishingwell gear. At least, no OG gear. A boot here or there.

This is the hood my brother sleeps in every night in the winter.

That’s right. While you are wearing your flannel deer pajama pants, or that woolly sleeping shirt, my brother is rocking some old ass ExC hood. Quality design too. Not bad for a capitol region art geek.

DIY Hardcore Hood

I can appreciate some DIY skills.

Nothing wrong with trying to fix your own sink or paint your own wall. Nothing wrong with fixing your own bike or putting together your own complete deck.

But this hood? It’s a little out there for my liking. Granted, it isn’t covered in crusty patches. I’ll give it that much.

Out of the 4 bands, I only truly support one. And another doesn’t offend me, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to promote them.

Madball Set It Off Hood

I feel bad for this guy. He came to the party late and now suffers for that.

Previous styles of this hood sold for $70-$170. Just a few weeks back, in fact.

But then someone pointed out that they were still available from allinmerch.com, and the market dried up entirely.

He’s come to the party once already and is now trying again. At this rate, he’ll soon be selling his hood for a cheaper price than allinmerch.com. LOL
