At my previous gym, there was this old dude who looked exactly like Joe Weider. Physically fit, same hair cut. Dude even had the moustache. So of course, we called him Weiders. Sharp dude. As for this tank from academyclothiers, I sugget picking it up and giving it to Morgado for his birthday. It’s the least you can do for the guy who wrote When The Ink Leaves Your Fist. Hardcore!

Free Spirt Gil

Over the weekend, I was lucky enough to hit up UB. It was a great gig, but one of the best parts was hanging with friends I don’t get to see enough. I spent most of Saturday sitting next to Gil of Free Spirit. Solid dude. Great egg. We even worked out an excellent trade. Lots of PMA. But here’s a question that Gil and were discussing a few days back. The phrase “Fuck The World.” Would you consider that positive or negative?

BARS not just a place to drink.

I never had the opportunity to see Bars. But that debut album blew me away. It was awesome rock n roll with a thrash twist. Bars incorporated all the best parts of American Nightmare and The Hope Conspiracy.viciousskin is selling a Bars Baseball tee. I like this shirt great rock look. It also reminds me of the Deathwish Intimidation tee. Since I did not get to see Bars I will definitely be checking out All Pigs Must Die but as I write this I realize that I missed them in Philly yesterday. So now I will have to add All Pigs Must Die to the list bands I didn’t get to see. That’s what I get for going to Hooters with my 93 year old friend from the parking garage. I’m serious he just turned 93. I have to get my show schedule straightened out. Track of choice Toecutter.

FOUNDATION ATL SXE UB

Most of you know that I usually post Soundgarden shirts. But I’m actually a bigger fan of the core. Foundation is one of those bands on my radar. I can’t wait for that new LP to drop. Murphy is lucky he gets to go to UB this weekend and enjoy the music and the merch. I had to stay and work at the fucking bank. That’s what you get when you wear a tie. I’ll bet xrobertrizzox does not wear a tie when he could wear this ATL represent shirt. I’m sure Foundation will kill it this weekend.

Boston Hardcore Died in 1997

And if it didn’t die in 1997, it definitely died when Blood For Blood broke up. At least, that’s what 617afterlife617 thinks. I’m assuming he’s never heard of In My Eyes, Have Heart, Ten Yard Fight, Free Spirit, The Rival Mob, Mental, Dumptruck, Death Before Dishonor, … You get the idea. This might be a Soulless era tshirt, but an opening bid of $35? Homie don’t play that.

Rare Cro-Mags Skateboard deck 61 of 100

I know this is not a soft cotton yellow pit stained t-shirt, but I thought I would share it would you. theweighdown is selling rare limited to 100 Cro-Mags Skateboard. The deck was made by east coast skate company Outlook Skateboards. This deck was available back in 2005 when Harley was touring around with his version of the Cro-Mags. Don’t sleep on this because they don’t show up to often on Ebay. You can also check out SkateNoize for other Hardcore related Skateboards.

Up Front Reunion Tee

Our buddy Jay made this shirt for the Up Front reunion. He was channeling the Spirit cover for this one. You can actually read all about what the design on his blog. It’s a good read. Sadly, this shirt looks … not good. I can’t tell if it’s the pictures or the red shirt, black ink combo. Everything looks super washed out. Anyone have a white one? I bet it works better on white. The front is basically indecipherable. Weird.

BANE “IRON EAGLE SHIRT”

derekwilliamxvx is selling a Bane shirt that Murphy refers to as “Iron Eagle”. The shirt was released in the early part of 2000 I want to say just after The Note came out. But I could be wrong. The design was done by Chris Delia. I had a chance to ask talk to him about himself and the shirt this is what he said.

Chris Delia is a Designer and Creative Director living in New Jersey. He is a Creative Director at Manhattan based design agency Builtbythefactory.com. Chris run’s his own freelance shop from imnotanaddict.com. “This is one of my favorite designs I created for Bane and was even more excited when I heard it would be part of their European tour following Give Blood.”

Vintage Thrasher Skateboard t-shirt -1988 Punk

I know this is a double post over at SKATENOIZE but I thought it deserved double the attention.Where are my Thrasher Heads at? I got a rare Ken 88 Thrasher shirt for you. This shirt is in great shape for something that is 23 years old. campytoo is letting this go so one of you out there can enjoy it. Thrasher has always repped Punk and Hardcore to the fullest. I love the illustration of the dude doing a handplant over the mail boxes. Don’t you think he looks like David Spade in Police Academy 4. Fun fact David use to work in a skate shop in the 80′s and actually skated.
