Hands Tied No Time To Waste Tee

Tim has always had a knack for a quality design.

I’m going to assume this is one of his based on the real classic, old school feel.

This one could have Wishingwell sleeve print and wouldn’t look out of place.

I don’t recall catching Hands Tied the first go around, but watching them in 2003 was a blast. Everyone was getting into it. Even if it was the quietest fucking show on a cold ass Connecticut night. Mosh.

You know what design team knew a good looking shirt when they dreamt one up? Tim and Ed. Those two have loads of design smarts. They’ve taken their favorite elements of late 80s tee, added a mid 90s touch and then that special personal touch. That’s just a good look.

Red shirt with yellow print? Shut it down. I’ve never seen a shirt I didn’t like that came in the red and yellow colourway. Project X schism tee, check. Stop And Think tee, check. Smorgasbord tee, check. Floorpunch Smorgasbord rip off tee, check. I could go on, but I think you get what I’m saying.

March 08, 2003 @El N Gee New London CT: Hands Tied (reunion), Damage Control, The First Step, Desperate Measures(??), Not A Chance (last show)

This show was cool but cold as shit. Why was it so cold in the El N Gee for that gig? Also, it was my brother’s 19th bday. I celebrated with some stage diving for him. Everyone sound SOOO good that night. Did Desperate Measures play or did I dream that up?

Damage Control tour shirt

I have to say, when I saw this shirt at one of the Hands Tied reunion shows, I had to have it. Holy tony the tiger stylee on this one. It doesn’t get much more crucial than this one. Kinda corny, sure, but an X’d up tiger wearing a hoody is my kind of party.
