H2O Tonight In Worcester, Mass

H2O is playing tonight in Worcester, Mass. I was in Worcester just yesterday for a job fair. I didn’t spot a single hardcore kid, and that’s despite being in the same town as one of the top ten straight edge schools (SMH …). But if you’re in town, you should definitely go. H2O always puts on a solid gig. Maybe you don’t have enough time to win this old ass shirt from xx43xx, but you should go anyway. I’m sure xTOMx will be there. You can hang. I’ll be at home with my out of commission car and dogs. Not bad.

Some Spaulding Shit

When it comes to h2o, I’m a fan. Always have been. Granted, I don’t think I’ve ever heard the GO! album. Somewhere in the last 10 years, I disconnected from them. Maybe I fucked up because I really enjoy the latest album on B9. Nothing To Prove. Into it. But you know who loved H2O? That’s right, Spaulding. Dude had this shirt and the rain drop shirt in his regular rotation. In fact, he may be the only person I’ve ever seen wear this shirt. Can’t say I ever saw xtommydreamerx, the seller, wear this one. But I know that Tom loves H2O as well. And why not? Great band. #PMA

H2O demo noize

“H2O Demo Tape – This is the original demo tape from 1994. I’ve never seen one since the day I bought this since they issued a 7″ a short time later. This was a treasured item in my collection but I’m done with Tapes and it’s time to pass this one on. The condition is played but it is in great shape.

Since I’ll never see one of these again you get to hear the story of how I got this. I went to see Rancid at the Limelight in late 1994 or early 1995 (confusion will be explained later). It was at the infamous Limelight in NYC and the opener that night was a band playing their second show: H2O. They blew this High School kid away. The night went on and Rancid was killing it when some jackass stage dove feet first into my head. The next thing I remember was 4 strangers each holding one limb carrying me out of the pit. God I hate stagedivers. Well, I was plopped at the merch tables where a bunch of nice roadies got me waters and let me keep a chair for a while. In appreciation I bought this tape, an H20 Shirt and my treasured Rancid t-shirt. This tape was on regular play for three years and a couple of these songs are better in my opinion than what went on the debut album – my opinion but I saw H20 a dozen times before that first album and I swear the demos caught what was so special about them at that time.”

What you are looking at here is an OLD H2O shirt. This is demo era or first EP era. Mid 90s for sure. And if you were Spaulding, I would expect you to wear this every time I saw you. Hopefully, davedeath7 can find someone as cool as Spaulding to buy this from him. We’ll see.

Vests For The Win!

Lets continue Sleeveless Saturday with a few vests. You know you can’t go wrong with a solid vest or two. First on the block is this Madball vest. I’m fairly positive it’s a more recent release. I get the feeling it’s a Euro tour item…. Thoughts?

And then there is the H2O vest. This is also more recent. It was printed up for the Nothing To Prove LP as you can tell from the back print. Not too shabby. Kids seem to really want this one.

This probably isn’t really a vest, but you know we still love a solid tanktop. Cold World. I feel like most of these were sold at a fest and last very few minutes on the table. Seller doesn’t say, but I think that’s the case.

randomhero123 knows what I’m saying. He’s got an ass ton of sleeveless tshirts up on ebay, all ending soon. And for the most part, each is still less than a dollar. Hell, it’s cheaper to buy these sans sleeves than to buy a regular tee and cut them off yourself. Think about that.
