jamsk8! has balls. No doubt. This person has stepped out of their comfort zone to open up a DIY skate shop. That takes money, patience, passion and BIG BRASS BALLS. In this down turned (but on the way back) economy, it takes balls to follow your dreams. Stepping away from a reliable, but boring paycheck is a hard move. But this dude did it. Following the dream. Support this kid. Support this shop.

I salute this guy. I look forward to the day when I can do the same thing.

Guns Up was never shy with their tshirt obsessions. We wouldn’t pretend to understand … They produced A LOT of shirts over the years. Some in super low quantities, lots of weird mixes of stuff. And they understood the game. Believe me, at least one of those dudes knew about flipping Jordans on ebay. They all know how the game is played. And for years, Guns Up was HOT, red hot. Their merch was commanding outrageous prices on the nerd. That’s when they dropped this GREAT ebay design.

Don’t want to sell this, but times are tough. Bid Hard.

ohsickdudesick also has up these shorts. I’ve honestly never seen them before. I had this Red Sox design on a navy tee. Got it right from Dan in some trade Rt 128 trade. Yes, that’s right. 95S style. Sweat shorts. Feeling them.

Lets compare. An original tee (albeit a modern day reprint) from zuckus138 vs a rip design from ben$dover. Granted, I like my shirt with sleeves either way. Both look good, but something about that font just makes the word LEEWAY look soooo much better.

Now lets compare Rise And Falls (no, not that Rise And Fall). You tell me.

I had The Ball Player poster growing up. Great poster. It was even framed. Eventually, I traded it to Matt Pike (Some Kind Of Hate, not High On Fire). Great trade. Guns Up knows what it up. Check out ragingbull20′s for some other cheap BINs. Very nice!

Not the Philadelphia Eagles, they suck, but the Boston College Eagles! Lots of history at this school. And plenty of famous people you’ve actually heard of: Amy Poehler, John Kerry, Matt Ryan and of course, BC’s favorite son, Doug Flutie. One time I was driving around Framingham and almost got run over by this giant yellow H2 Hummer. Turns out it was Flutie’s daughter driving it.

Counting Issues

I think Mr. ben$dover may have some issues with numbers. Lets see what the first line in the auction description says, RARE 1-SIDED, (UNLESS YOU COUNT THE 1917 LOGO ON THE BACK,) GUNS UP! SHIRT! HUH? Of course you count the logo printed on the back, dude. It’s not insignificant. It’s not like it’s impossible to see or printed with invisible ink. It’s clearly evident that there is a print there. Check for yourself.

Shoes > Hardcore

I’m not sure what to say about this shirt.

At one point, this shirt felt like it was rare as hell.

But as time goes by, more and more start to pop up.

In fact, more and more “rare 1 of 2″ shirts seem to pop up. First we saw a hooded sweatshirt, then black tees, then a crewneck, then a longsleeve … next I’m expecting to see bucket hats and pajama pants.

I heard a rumor that there was a crew in Florida printing up these shirts over and over again. I’m not saying this particular shirt is a reprint / bootleg, but I’ve honestly never seen it before.

Supposedly made for band members (which last I checked, numbered higher than 2), lets see if we can find some clarification.

Shoes > Hardcore?

Nah, not so much.

When was the last time you drove over 400 miles for a pair of sneakers with a car full of your best friends? Hell, when was the last time you drove 20 miles for a pair of sneakers alone? Yeah, like I said, hardcore > shoes.

Also, does the hood on this sweatshirt look like absolute shit? This is perhaps the world’s smallest hood. Remind me to avoid Hanes Comfortblend like it was black death. Hopefully it’s just terrible pics. If you win this one, let me know, please.
