Justice Go Veg $30 BIN

One of my favorite Justice tees. I got this when they were touring with Mental in 2005 on the Planet Mental tour. I copped a medium but its a bit small so im always on the lookout for a size L if anyone wants to swap. This auction from spitfiregirl11 is a pretty good deal with a BIN at $30. The shirt usually goes for about that. Sometimes even more.

Justice Go Vegetarian Crew

If this Justice crewneck wasn’t a size medium, I would already have won this off of no-other-way. That’s just the way it would go. Lots of veg pride over at the Murphy household. And this one is great. Everyone (at least me, that is) loves a white crewneck. Granted, it doesn’t have a LOC on the sleeve, but you can’t really go wrong with Complete Control Records (Editor Update: whoops, sorry folks) either (shout out to bust!). So, go ahead, grab this one. I won’t fight you for it. But if you’ve got a Large or XL, set me up.

Go Vegetarian

A simple classic Youth of Today design from coldxworld. Some people hate on this shirt but it is what it is. You cant really make a cool looking Go Veg shirt. Im into this shirt regardless. I have it with blue ink and with purple ink. This one is on veggie green. There is also red. This design pops up enough that if you bide your time you can probably collect all of them pretty easily.

Justice – Gone Vegetarian

By the time you finish reading this post, I’ll have finished an amazing vegan meal at Veggie Galaxy in Cambridge. We were meeting up with some friends for good times and good eats. Cruelty free, yo. I’d suggest you get into the same. Grab this tee from sickloser15. One thing I noticed, instead of the LOC sleeve print, it has the Complete Control sleeve print. Didn’t know they made a version of this shirt … Cool. I still want that double sided “Go Vegetarian” shirt I saw Flip(??) wearing at that Posi Numbers.

I’m With Casali.

I’m no vegetarian (I did 3 years from 1996-1999, and I was terrible at it so I stopped), but I whole heartedly back Casali’s assessment of the cow version of the Youth Of Today “No More” tee as being inferior to the original version, as shown in this auction from seller contri.lhc. I also agree with the seller’s decision to mash up his front/back pictures into one split screen shot, though he probably could have made the pic a little bigger…

Back to the topic of being vegetarian, shout outs to my pal AmericanStan, who went veg for his birthday, much to his grill loving wife’s chagrin. Hope you last longer than I did buddy.

Four Legs Are Not Better Than Three

How heinous is this bootleg Youth Of Today Go Vegetarian design that asnka_apeshallnotkillape is littering ebay with? I think it’s safe to call it “mondo heinous.” Just bad. Instead of buying this hood, tshirt or other tshirt, go to Revelation Records and buy a REAL YOT Go Veg tshirt. Support the labels, support the bands.

YOT – Go Vegetarian – Worcester Vegfest

Over the weekend, I hit up Worcester’s Vegfest. Hard to believe it’s grown so much since just last year. It already feels like it’s outgrown the space. For anyone who attended that A-team gig in Worcester that was shut down because of fireworks in a microwave, Vegfest was in the same place. Anyway, great time. I ate a ton of great food, from Peace O Pie (solid focaccia) to Xs To Os Bakery (killer canoes, wish they had brought some cinnamon buns) and back to Lunas and Larrys and Like No Udder (we hit it up when the line was 2 people deep, WAY before it became 30 people deep. Smart). It was an excellent time. Spotted a few dudes and had a good chance to catch up. While talking to Puffer, he berated me for not wearing my Youth Of Today Go Vegetarian tee. I mean, I was wearing a New Age Records Veg longsleeve, that should have been enough. Apparently it wasn’t vegetarian crucial enough for Puffer (even though he was wearing a Double Cross hood …). We’ll see what next year brings, but I expect him to be rocking this longsleeve from burpo666. No excuse if he isn’t.

Vegetarians Are Hippies.

The name thrashtodeath must be an alias for our previously mentioned tie dye hating pal Tretilldeath, because near as I can tell, the tie dye is the main reason this Youth of Today “Go Vegetarian” shirt is described as “trashed”.

Yes, his description says there are some stains, and it’s weirdly stretched out, but “trashed’ implies that there are like… giant holes, loose threads, disintegrating fabric, missing collars/sleeves… that sort of thing. In other words, a tee that has been rendered 100% unwearable. You might not be wearing this YOT tee anywhere classier than the beach in summer, but it’s clearly intact, and certainly looks like it’s still got a wear or two left in it. That’s hardly trashed. I’m guessing he’s just covering his bases.

Hamburgers …

There are just a few hours left on this Justice shirt from stagger_josh, and it’s a little different than your average Go Veg Justice tee. People are always trying to get mine, but this one is definitely different. The cow on the front says “Hamburgers are made of WHAT!?” But on this particular tee, it just says “Hamburgers.” Look closely, you’ll see it. Makes me wonder if someone taped off the screen when printing a few up. Likely scenario. Either way, the back of the shirt rules. Go vegetarian. And then check the other auctions from stagger_josh as he has a few good ones for cheap.

Go Vegetarian

This shirt is for me. I’ve been vegan for 13 years now. Yeah, 13 years. No cheese, no milk, no meat. It can be done. It’s not impossible, and it’s definitely not hard or terrible. Here’s what I had to eat yesterday. Homemade granola with soy milk, a soy latte, chips, hummus, salsa, grilleded eggplant sandwiches with roasted peppers and vegan pesto, grilled corn on the cob, two different kinds of vegan cupcakes (both excellent), fresh vegetables. It was a day of great eating.

But since I’m winning this shirt, I suggest you all head over to revhq.com to pick up a brand new Youth Of Today Go Vegetarian shirt in Small – XL. Just your size. I’ll take this one, you get a new one.
