Lockin Out Fanzine :)

Fanzine heat fromxtheirongiantx. Issue number two of the famed Lockin Out Records Number One Fanzine. Released in the summer of 2003 and what a fucking summer it was. So many good gigs. I have really fond memories of 2003 and the rise of the LOC. I dont have my copy in front of me but its probably safe to say that this issue probably has some Scace heavy content!

Boiling over

If katatonic_keith’s sticker pack wasnt your thing then maybe this issue of Boiling Point is? One of the most legendary zines of all time? Def one of the few fanzines I would actually be stoked to wear a t shirt of(the other two being hardware and standhard fanzines). Has this been compiled into a book yet? If not it should be!

My Rules – Reasonable BIN

soul_bee brings us a reasonable BIN for a super clean copy of My Rules. Sometimes they go for more. Sometimes for less but Id say this is a good average price for a clean copy. I expect this to go pretty fast

Town of Hardcore Fanzine shirt

One of the best things to come out Canada since Sami Reiss – Town of Hardcore Fanzine! This zine was legit and I agree with the seller when he says it is the best fanzie of the past 10 years. A great mix of new and old, honest reviews, interviews without all of the boring stok questions, cool comp 7″ with an issue. You could really tell it was a labor of love. You can cop every issue in book form from eating rats records. Its only 25 bucks for a 300 page A4 sized book! Even if you dont like it, which is impossible its only 25 bucks so its not that big of a gamble. Check it out here and see what you missed out on –> Town of Hardcore Book

Do you know Hardcore?

Smegma Fanzinesssssssssssssssssssss

Precursor to Touch and Go fanzine. Done by 2 dudes from the Necros and Corey Rusk of Touch and Go. You know you Fanzine collectors want this. The BIN is a little high but when are you gonna see these again?

Schism Fanzine

Could and have stared at the cover of this issue for hours. Will continue to study it for years to come.

Think Fanzine

I dont know anything about this zine except it looks awesome. I want to read this fucking thing. The AF interview probably speaks of social unrest. Just a smart looking zine! Anyone have this?

MRR bonanza

Here is a shitload of MRR’s. There has gotta be some kinda zine collector that reads this site. Or a zine archiver. Or someone that hates Warzone. Here is your chance to cop almost a full set of MRRs. Instant super collector! Somewhere in there might be an interesting interview or two? Def a whole lotta filler but probably worth it for all the old ads!

In case you have taste and wanna read a good zine. Here is an auction thats been going on for a long time. You can cop the last issue of “Change” zine for a buck!! Free shipping the in the US. You cant beat that deal. Interview with Chaka for a dollar!!! What else are you gonna do with a buck?

Loveseat Fanzine – Issue #1

You are probably saying to yourself, “huh, wtf is loveseat?” Actually, knowing the audience of this blog, you are saying, “holy fuck, loveseat.”

For those of you in the first camp, Loveseat Fanzine was the zine Alex Brown wrote back when he lived in Des Moines, Iowa. If you don’t know who Alex Brown is, may god have mercy on your soul. Just in case, he was Schism Fanzine, the bassist for many a youth crew hardcore band (Gorilla Biscuits, Side By Side, Project X …) aka The Big Time.

He cranked out this little zine before moving to Brooklyn where upon he changed the name to Schism. Probably because it sounded more hardcore. Just imagine if the Judge EP was released on Loveseat Records … wild.

The seller does a GREAT job of listing the details on this zine. Go check out that description and BID HARD.

Jagz shirt and Lockin Out Records Number One Fanzine #2

A bit of a Lockin Out Records post. First up is a Jaguarz shirt. Worst band name. Best Demo name?(Jungle Jamz). A short lived but popular Loc band with tons of merch.

Lockin Out Records Number One Fanzine #2. I love this zine. Such a great read and from such a good point in HC(summer 2003). Read this and get super nostalgic. Plus shootout to a great cover pic of Joey C
