Ensign And Another Victim Jerseys BIN

pappaedge is a dude I’ve known for many years and he’s got a couple of basketball jerseys up at relatively cheap Buy It Now prices, especially for jerseys. Whether you dig fast hardcore or hardcore that’s more on the 90s chug tip, he’s got you covered. Both were printed on Champion jerseys. The Ensign jersey was sold on tour when they were out supporting the “Fall From Grace” 7 inch. It also came in red.

This Another Victim jersey was around 1999-ish and sold after “Apocalypse Now” came out. They had them when they came down here with Turmoil.

A Hoodie From When Ensign Were Awesome.

Ah the memories that seller xx43xx brings back with this pre-lp era, “This Is My Life…” Ensign hoodie. Man, were those first 2 ep’s and lp good. Really quality stuff. After that, I dunno what happened. I remember putting on the 2nd cd and chucking it after a whooping zero tracks stuck out. Except for the first song, which they ripped off from Judge. Like blatantly, horrendously obviously ripped off from Judge. Hear Me, to be specific. Intro all the way up to the chorus, total sound alike. Huge turn off right there, one from which I never recovered… still, seeing this hoodie brings back some good memories. Might throw on Direction of Things To Come later.

(That’s not discoloration, he took a pic of a half dry hoodie. I know, kind of weird. Why not just wait ten more minutes?)

Basketball Jerseys – Now That’s The Spirit

I’m not sure exactly who in_vinyl_we_trust is, but I like the spirt here. Not only does he have 4 Earth Crisis basketball jerseys, but he also has a great Ensign jersey. And on a personal note, he did reference me as “his holiness Swami B. Murphy.” Not bad for an atheist. Then again, I am both vegan and straight edge so Earth Crisis would surely approve. I see that Cabal 315 jersey going places $$$ wise. Don’t sleep, these end in less than a day.

Ensign Bl’asts Through Europe 2001

Let this be the spark! That’s right. Ensign hit Europe fast and hard back in 2001. I think this was in support of their Nitro record The Price of Progression. I of course, wasn’t there to see it. I’m guessing discopaul wasn’t there either. But I can understand why he’d want to snap up this Bl’ast rip off design. Smart look. Interestingly enough some of my favorite shows featured Ensign, but oddly, I can’t recall ever really seeing Ensign play. Granted, I have shit memory but with these shows, you’d think I’d remember SOMETHING.

December 15th 1997 @The 180 Club Hagerstown MD: Yuletide Hardcore Fest: Rancor, Fastbreak, Floorpunch, Rain On The Parade, Ensign, Ten Yard Fight, and Bane
November 28 1998 @The Gym Clinton Mass: Ten Yard Fight, Shutdown, Ensign and Sick Of It All
March 5, 2000 @Manville Elks Lodge Manville NJ: Matt Fest Day 2: AF, Hatebreed, Bane, Vision, Ensign, …

The one Ensign gig I can recall was one of the first shows I saw after leaving Maine for Worcester. IT was at the Bristol Bike Exchange in Connecticut. Super cold, super late. This was back in the day when every Connecticut show started at least 3 hours later than expected. It wasn’t a rare occurrence for headlining bands to begin setting up at 1am. Sigh. I remember more about the event leading up to the bands than the actual bands. My memory sucks. Very uncool.

Need a NOT expensive jersey?

Casali was going on and on about expensive basketball jerseys. Pssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Who needs them?

Why rock a $200+ jersey when you can sport this fine specimen from headwalkathon for a mere $0.99? That’s right, you can get this excellent Ensign jersey for less than a buck. Rock this one with NJ pride!

Take that Casali!

Spring’s In The Air – Jersey Fever!

I never knew how many hardcore related basketball jerseys were out there until I started working on this blog. Frankly, I’m astonished.

And I’m not even talking about football, hockey or nascar jerseys. Just basketball jerseys. There are A LOT of them.

Let me see if I can generalize some of the bands that put out basketball jerseys. Yes, this is where I stereotype bands. But here’s what I’ve seen.

a) NYHC vibe. Even if they are from Kansas
b) Some sort of militant or hard attitude. Whether it be hardline vegan or just generally tough dudes.
c) Love of 96 era hardcore.

That’s what I’m seeing. You tell me if I’m wrong. I’ve been wrong before. I’m sure it wasn’t the last time.

Start off with Ensign. Good times.

Throw in an EXCELLENT RICK TA LIFE,,,, 25 TA LIFE,,,, BASKETBALL JERSEY,,,, YOURE MOSHING,,,,

Vegan straight edge in the house.

Skarhead, oh whut.

And this one is just for fun. Supreme X Budweiser. HUH?

remember Ensign?

There was a time when Ensign was playing all over the east coast every weekend. It seemed like they were on every show. They were fun to see. I dug the 7″s and that first LP. Recently I put those same recoords on to see what was up and they did not hold up for me at all. Too bad. I remember tha song they had on the “growing stronger” comp being real good too. Anyone have mp3s of that?

Ensign Basketball Jersey

Last night I posted an AF basketball jersey.

Today I post an Ensign jersey.

If there was a pickup game between Ensign and AF, I would give the game to Ensign. They seem to be more athletic. Not that either crew seem like Michael Jordans, but I see a Scalabrine or two in that lot.

Good condition for this older jersey. Why #78?

Go shoot some hoops.

Teamwork Records shirt

OK, so Teamwork Records may not be your favorite record label, but c’mon. I’m sure you can find it in your heart to spend $1.50 on this shirt. Wear it to the gym, wear it to the beach or wear it mowing the lawn. Someone please save this shirt from the car wash rag pile.

You can represent Floorpunch, Atari, 97A, Ensign, Atari, Rain on the Parade and Pushed Too Far all in one shot!
