Integrity Bootleg with Deathwish Inc Sleeve Print … Huh?

I think ivoprins86 is confused. Here’s what he says, “Integrity shirt, size L. Definitely a bootleg shirt, but it has an Deathwish logo printed on the sleeve. Bought it at a hardcore punk fest a few years ago.” Doesn’t that seem a little odd to anyone else? From what I recall, Deathwish Inc produced these tees a few years back while working with Integrity. And if someone was going to bootleg Integrity tees, why would they go out of their way to add the extra deathwish inc sleeve print? That’s just silly. Go head over to the DWI estore and pick up some of that Integrity merch (and make sure to check out Tre’s auctions too).

MELTDOWN CREWNECK BOSTON HARDCORE

I saw Meltdown a handful of times and every time was awesome. I hate the fact that Boston has/had so many good band come out of that city. kevint39bq is selling this Merauder inspired crewneck. Starting price is low and there are no bids yet. I might just have to buy this. Spring is a great time for cargo shorts and a crewneck and some air max’s,check out sneakernoize.

Rotting Out Loves Tie Dye

Rotting Out loves tie dye. That’s obvious from this sweet tanktop. Would look great while shredding a pool, right skatenoize? Just sharp. You know who else loves tie dye? Tre from Deathwish Inc. In fact, you’d think Rotting Out was a DWI band, but they are not. They are on the west label, 6131 Records. Weird, right?

Make sure to check out the other auctions from lifextime too. He’s got some good ones. Go ahead and grab some merch from Rotting Out too. Those sweatpants are calling my name!

Piss Off Society Or Your Parents Or Someone …

God Free Youth. Definitely a slogan from the mid 90s. The backlash against Krshna-Core and “Spirit Filled Hardcore” (barf. Nothing makes me want to punch out my ears more than someone describing a band as “spirit filled hardcore.” Seriously. Makes me want to punch my own head off. So bad) was heating up in the late 90s. People were over it. They were over the pushy distro tables, over waiting through chants and seances for music, just over it. Not that everyone got out of it. Just the majority of the crowd had enough. A small portion of that crowd took it to the next level. The God Free Youth. Instead of pushing JC, they pushed NOT JC. These two items may not be from 1996, but the intent is the same. thisverymoment comes at us with the hat. And dungholder brings us the Pulling Teeth Deathwish Inc tee (oddly, this shirt is probably less than 6 miles from me as we speak. I wonder if the seller is friends with mr Jd Nard?).

Bonus Item Plus A Converge Hood

I was never super overwhelmed by this Converge hood. It’s interesting, but it’s not mind blowing awesome. Plus this particular one is on a navy hood. You know what that means … But the seller, stylelikeus has tempted me with this addition The winning bidder also receives a FREE mystery hoodie from another Boston band of the same era (2000ish?). This I like. I like a little gamble. You never know what you will receive. It could be anything from Panic to Embrace Today to American Nightmare to Blood For Blood. Who knows? And since this one is sitting at $1.99 right now, it might be worth the investment, even if only for a gag. We’ll see. If you prefer to NOT gamble, go ahead and hit up the Deathwish Inc estore. You can get every Converge item exactly as you want it. Lots and lots and lots of choices.

Blacklisted – Philly Hardcore

Blacklisted is cool. Don’t let the haters fool you. No One Deserves To Be Here More Than Me is a PHENOMENAL record. It’s out there, and maybe not in that hardcore vein you all would expect, but it’s SO freakin good. Well worth picking up. And while you cruise over to Deathwish Inc to grab those tunes, maybe you want to scoop up some of these great Blacklisted tees from fruitpunchblues. Less than a day to go, and most are at $1 and have no bids. Dumb if you don’t scoop that Phillies one.

You can still get quite a few gems straight from Deathwish Inc store too. Tshirts, belts, buttons, vinyl, prints … You name it, they’ve got it. DWI rules!

CONVERGE This Is Boston Not LA shirt

Ebay seller jpb138 has a few cool things up for auction including a True Colors satin jacket, but the thing I want to talk about is this Converge shirt. I don’t think it’s possible to find fault with the “This is Boston not L.A.” imagery.

I do wonder what this shirt was made for. Was it for FYF or was it for the “Save Our State Parks” event for Los Angeles State Historic Park. Or was this sold at FYF to support the Los Angeles State Historic Park? Either way, this is a great looking shirt.

Reign Supreme

Over the weekend, I attended Transmission Fest in Worcester, MA. Now, I hadn’t even heard of this gig until about 24 hours before the Saturday gig. Turned out, it was a two day gig in two locations. Each set of bands would play one location one day then the next location the next day. Big time. And it wasn’t small time chumpy bands. It was BIG time chumpy bands. At least on the day I attended, my choices were Acacia Strain, Vanna, … the works. Thank god a few great bands were peppered in there. I rolled up to hang with my friends Klint of Reign Supreme and Travis from This Is Hell. I spent a lot of time hanging around while Klint got pretty and had his picture taken for some promos. But overall, the show was sort of a mind fuck. Every kid, and I do mean kid, I’m guessing the average age was 13, was wearing neon. Lots of neon pink tees, neon braces, neon sneakers. And of course, black skinny jeans. But all of these kids kept requesting they get their picture taken with the band. With the dude from Vanna or with the dudes from Reign Supreme. Yes, Reign Supreme. Apparently Jay Pepito and Mike Doto are handsome fucks that people need to be pictured with. Who knew? Someone tell their manager to hire some security. They need it. Later Klint photo bombed a shot with the Vanna dude, girls got all cranky and demanded a redo. Personally, I thought a slobbering Klint in the background really added to the shot …

So this tank top. Yeah, you can still buy it directly from the band. Probably would only cost you 10 clams. Or consider picking up a tee from Deathwish Inc. Always a wise choice. And if that isn’t good enough, I guess you could always buy the tank chrismagana is selling. Try to get it from the band or label first though.

A Little Bit of … Everyone

I remember thinking when these shirts dropped, “here are some dudes looking to tap into that MMA market …” These tshirts screamed UFC-approved, with each label adding a little something to the Internal Affairs shirt. Lets see what we have. Tradition Shop (Andrew Kline of Strife’s store), Deathwish Inc Records, Malfunction Records, TLFI Crew (??) and Triumvir (street wear logo, I forget their core connection). Yeah, that’s a little bit of everything, right? Doom Fight Techniques? No idea. Sounds rough. So if you are a little scrapper, like I assume roundonenathan must be, snap this one up.

Incidentally, I once won this as a long sleeve. It cost me $2.25 + $3 for shipping. Dude never shipped it. Apparently he felt it didn’t sell for enough. Thankfully, I got a refund from paypal …
