DESTROY BABYLON

One of my favorite Bad Brains shirts! Like 10 years ago Standhard got a bunch of these deadstock from some dude and he hooked me up with one! Best dude, I was stoked. It was a bit small but I was psyched to have one. A couple years ago I got one that actually fits for a Xmas present! Great Xmas. I dont know if this is actually a tour shirt but it does have the year on the back and thats pretty fucking cool.

Here is yet another deadstock shirt. Where the fuck is this super stockpile of unworn bad brains shirts?!?

Better Than One Thousand – Back Again

Will someone please give this a good home?

Please?

Think of it like that cute little dog at the pound that is farty. Looks good, but a little stinky. You know you’ll love him regardless of the smell.

Do it.

Probable Bad Brains Bootleg – Buyer Beware

If I were you I would think again before buying this shirt. Chances are this thing is bootleg. First warning sign – the seller is selling nothing else but other bootlegs. I know youre saying “hey but its on a Screen Stars brand shirt”. Well I browse through various local vintage clothes shops weekly and have seen a ton of “vintage” bootlegs on screen star and other band shirts. Warning sign 2 – look at the tag itself. If this is an early 80′s vintage shirt then why does that tag look like its never been in a washing machine ever? I have a ton of old shirts and I can tell you that none of the tags look that crispy. Warning sign 3 – look at the graphic itself. Shit is way too crispy. no fading no cracking. looks mint. Chances are he scored an old deadstock blank screen stars shirt and screen that graphic on it changing it from a 10 buck new reprint to a 50 buck “vintage” BB shirt. I wouldnt bid on this or the sellers other items.

Note on the seller. From checking out his other auctions and then his feedback. On Jun 21 he bought a size XL(with tag) slapshot shirt with easy bootable bulldog graphic. Now he has the same design slapshot shirt in size L(with no tag) for sale with a description that it is from the “early-mid 90′s”. sketchy seller.

a screen stars tag like this doesnt mean shit

Bad Brains- 1989 Quickness Tour shirt

Original Bad Brains 1989 Quickness tour shirt
Lucky for you I already have this shirt or else there would be some competition.  This shirt is just classic. Plain and simple. Great design on the front. Crucial tour dates on the back. Sure Quickness doesnt hold a candle to the earlier material but the older records are so good that even shirts for Quickness are awesome.
It seems to me that the Bad Brains may have prinited 1 million shirts for their Quickness tour. Pretty much almost every old Bad Brains shirt is quickness tour related.  I believe I got my shirt from Joe Snow a while back. Shootout to Joe Snow. Great dude

Minor Threat – Black Sheep Tee

This is a staple that every hardcore kid should own. When Hoover was running for president in the mid 20s, he promised there would be a “chicken in every pot and a car in every garage.” He should have also amended that statement by including “a minor threat tshirt in every closet.”

This isn’t an old tee. It’s not vintage early 80s garb. But it is the same design (well almost. There is a lot more black in the sheep of the newer version) you’ll spot in that most famous Public Enemy image.

If it’s good enough for Flava Flav, you know it’s good enough for you. No giant clock piece required.

Battery – Tour 1997

US Tour 1997. For The Kids By The Kids. Shit, nothing gets better than that. Battery in 97 were on top of their game. They were still riding the high of Until The End, and hadn’t crested into Whatever It Takes land yet. I was stoked. And you could always count on a 7 Seconds cover or two.

Chip Sem, say it isn’t so…
