Skeletal Ambitions

I dont know much about this band. I do know they are from CT and I do know they played a lot of cool gigs form all the flyers Ive seen them on. I have no idea what they sound like. I wanna say they are a boring Oi! band as that is the image I have in my head. I dont really wanna know the real answer. The seller (sillypixie) is from Pheonix records in Waterbury, CT. I dont know much about that store but I can say it wasnt as good as Trash. You always had the feeling that you were intruding or bothering the staff when you were in the store. You got yelled at if you tried to look at the stock under the record stacks even if it was filled with stuff you actually wanted to buy. They kept their rare 7″s in a box behind the counter but the prices were always a little on the high side. I still bought a few things there but nothing mind blowing. Ill tell you what though It always made that longer drive to Trash a little more bearable :)

100 Demons

beastfromtheeast618 has a shirt up that even Murphy might approve of even though its navy. One of the best designs from 100 Demons in my opinion. If youre gonna make a rip off shirt you might as well use a Whalers logo. Shootouts to the Whalers. Shootouts to the Hartford Civic Center. Shootouts to sporting area nachos with cheese and jalapeno toppings.

Hatebreed Ringer

40mc has something that up that we dont see too often. It reminds me a lot of the 1998 Madball ringer that we see a lot on ebay. Were ringers really the trend in 98 that I dont remember?

What a record!?! Am I right or what. Total fucking ripper. Sure some words got censored/changed on this full length. I dont know if that was the label or Jamey’s call. It doesnt take away from how great this thing is. “Betrayed by Life”. You are fucking moshing. Being from CT, I have seen Hatebreed a ton of times but it is still not enough. I have also seen my fair share of “riots” at Hatebreed shows in CT and MA. Usually most of the violence was directed at knucklehead bouncers during those times. Here is your chance to re-live those early years of HB with this shirt from reno_216

heathens brings us an old hatebreed shirt. Obv in XL as it probably only came in that size. I wonder if Jamey every thought in a million years that when he started hatebreed that they would be using that same logo for more than 10 years!
HB fun fact – thee death threat song “brotherhood”(sds brotherhood) was originally a Hatebreed song but “Connecticut Brotherhood”. Saw them play it many a times at such shitty venues like Maxalunas sports bar.

I Will Be Heard

I was stoked when I saw this shirt up from Mr.frankrizzo789. Then I clicked on the auction and was unpleasently surprised to find out the back of the shirt does not feature me on it. I always love a good opportunity to promote auctions for the Hatebreed shirt with my pic on the back. Same design as this but different pic. This one instead features a much older HB line up. As a plus?? it is signed by various members of the band. If signed shirts are your shit.

Not as cool as like a smorgasboard Hatebreed shirt but still pretty cool. A very unobtrusive Bulldog on the sleeve makes this one a winner. Any shirt from Satisfaction is the Death of Desire era Hatebreed rules. What a fucking record! you are fucking moshing! Every song is a banger. Frequent commenter ChauncyCC can vouch for the greatness that gigs during this time were. You couldnt even go to a gig in CT without it ending in a riot against the club bouncers. We dont see too many of these type of Hatebreed shirts up so itll be interesting to see what this ends up going for. Brought to you by 23percent

thea_champion brings us an older Death Threat shirt. Is it just me or is it feel weird to say that 2003 is older?!? This is a top notch design from the “for god and government” era Death Threat. Fun fact – that cd’s title was inspired by the lyrics from Burn’s “new morality” so that should probably make you like it more. Knowing that it makes this graphic from the cover inspired by a jihad type poster all the more fitting and cool. This shirt is fresh but the pics make it look like a short and wide so id ask for measurement before buying if I were you.

Ending Soon – Up Front
