I really dig this Obituary crew neck from 1992 that is being sold by silverruins, but as usual it’s out of my price range. Too bad. Def one of the cooler Obituary designs out there (dig the bat in the band name… if it didn’t look so weird I would have titled this post O-BAT-uary Crewneck). AND it’s a crewneck. I’m a sucker for a good crewneck. Also pictured: awesome tiger sheets.

We’ve all been known to use hyperbole when it comes to listing an auction. You know you’ve done. That’s right. That “small, barely visibile” stain is actually the size of quarter and sticks out more than a pro-Obama sticker on a beat to shit Ford truck. It happens. Hyperbole happens. But I’m not sure if that’s the angle kylehuddleston was going for (shame on him for not mentioning the WarZone nod). Excuse my ignorance, but how many OTHER bands came from VAHC in the 2000s? Or course, there is Down To Nothing, Count Me Out, … And the newer crews of Fire & Ice, Iron Boots … but then I start running out of bands after Swamp Thing. Granted, it’s been a long day. Feel free to post angry comments about how I forgot “seminal band ________.” I’m sure I’m forgetting an important one.

FPCneck

Recently, I was added to this Facebook group called, “The Best And Worst Of Hardcore And All The Shit That Came With It.” And it lives up to it’s name. It’s both awesome and infuriating. I realize opinions are like assholes, but saying Floorpunch is the worst hardcore band of all time is a lie. It’s not a fact or an opinion, it’s wrong. I won’t name any names, but I’m sure you can think of one million bands that don’t stack up to FP. Fah. Just infuriating. Plus, there’s always that one (or one hundred) old grump who feels like poking people with sticks. I’m sure they are the part of the “all the shit that came with it” portion. Oh well. Still, the good outweighs the bad. Love those stories.

As for this crewneck from crucialtimes86, they were sold on the Euro tour back in 98. I believe they were all printed in Europe during the tour, which may or may not explain why they are so DAMN SMALL. I have a large and the sleeves are so damn short. Not cool. Maybe they are b-grade sweatshirts. Every single one I’ve seen has the tag cut up the middle. That’s usually how b-grades are marked. Regardless, dope color. If you are medium longsleeve person, this crewneck will fit you with style.

Righteous Crew Neck

Ugh, no-other-way is killing me. He currently has a stack of crewnecks up on ebay, like this Righteous Jams crewneck. Every one is dope as hell. The problem? They are all size medium. My gorilla arms can’t fit in something like that. Ugh.

Justice Go Vegetarian Crew

If this Justice crewneck wasn’t a size medium, I would already have won this off of no-other-way. That’s just the way it would go. Lots of veg pride over at the Murphy household. And this one is great. Everyone (at least me, that is) loves a white crewneck. Granted, it doesn’t have a LOC on the sleeve, but you can’t really go wrong with Complete Control Records (Editor Update: whoops, sorry folks) either (shout out to bust!). So, go ahead, grab this one. I won’t fight you for it. But if you’ve got a Large or XL, set me up.

Who loves that United Youth is now a LOC band? This guy right here, that’s who. Wish seller theeoriginator could say the same, but since he’s selling this LOC emblazoned crewneck from their record release show, guess that’s not the case… just playing, he’s just in a tough spot and needs the money. I can relate. If putting up auctions wasn’t such a pain in the ass, I’d have a bunch up myself right now.
