Gym shorts V.The First Step and Cold World

Now The First Step was a band that I never really got into. A lot of my friends like them and I’ve seen them a few times. Regardless of really caring about the band, I like these shorts that gdoggondaroof is selling. I’m a big fan of simple designs and I like meshy shorts, they are comfy and a softball staple of mine.
If I had to choose between these two shorts I would pick the Cold World ones that no-other-way is selling. Not just because I like Cold World, but because black usually wins over navy (at least I think they are navy) in my book. I don’t wear a ton of navy and it would be harder to match for me.
They are both Champion shorts.

Grease stains on clothing, its a cold world.

Well this is a pretty cool Cold World crewneck that i_m_phill is selling. I like the gray/black color combo with the little Cold World on the back. There is just a slight problem with this one and that it has a little grease stain on it.
Well… ATTN: seller and anyone else with this problem!
Try using Trisodium phosphate!! TSP is a good degreaser and stain remover. Unsure of how well it will work with a long term set in stain, but its worth a try if you haven’t been able to get it out.

Punk and hardcore starter lots

These two lots that rockandroll-vintage is selling are pretty good for a smaller person that wants a few basics.
This is what the seller lists about them:
“Cold World shirt, it’s a S Blue shirt w/ neon green print. Good condition. As far as i know, it’s an early design.

Outbreak shirt. Also a small, yello shirt. Rasta print. Good condition, Picked this up at some fest, wore it a few times, and packed it away.

Underdog Shirt. White shirt, Medium. Bought this at a Posi Numbers fest, either 03 or 04, from Sketchy Dan, a dude from Montreal, selling them in the parking lot at Homebase.

Gorilla Biscuits Blue front, White shirt, small. Made by shirts for a cure, so not exactly a boot, as the band gave approval for sale, has the gorilla crushing NYC buildings on the back.

Gorilla Biscuits Green front, bootleg design. Small White shirt. Bootleg design. Back Says Gorila biscuits in block font, in black.”

“Cock Sparrer, small, white shirt. Band logo design. Minor stain, barely noticable on the front. Good condition otherwise.
The explosion, small, black shirt, Shirts for a cure design, Black tape logo on front, with pink tarantula on the side, at the bottom left. Average condition, shirt was worn a lot, minor holes around the waist, barely noticable.
Bad brains shirt, small, white. Classic design. no major wear, worn a few times, a dip in oxi clean would really make it pop, but it isn’t nasty by any means.”

Cold World had their first “last show” at Posi Numbers in 05, then I think on NYE going into 06 or 07 they played a show in Canada. I remember the moment the show was over the internet was going crazy about these hoodies. They were going for hundreds of dollars! I’m unsure if they were reprinted at some point since then, but if not then they are still a pretty rare item. dean.parrish is selling a medium, hes also selling a few other Cold World items if you’re interested.

Whenever I see this Cold World shirt I always think of my friend Stef. She LOVES LL cool J, I mean she really loves him. I’ll have to find out her opinion on Cold World, if she likes them then this might be a perfect shirt for her. Seller skeephop picked this one up at Sound & Fury 2007.

COLD WORLD True Wilkes Barre Black Metal

I almost bought this one when I saw it at United Blood two years ago but the price tag was a little steep. gdoggondaroof must not have thought so. Its a pretty cool graphic featuring a slightly photoshopped photo from the True Norwegian Black Metal book by Peter Beste of King ov Hell. Obviously he isnt wearing a Cold World shirt in the original. No bids and only 99 cents right now so eat it up.

Cold World Raw Deal ripoff

kidcrash123 has this older Cold World shirt from way back. Excellent Raw Deal ripoff graphic (Matt Solomon art i think? Somone correct me if Im wrong). Its been a while since I’ve seen one of these in person and its one of the few Cold World shirts ive never owned. Only .99 cents right now too so how can you go wrong.

A Pegasus shirt

I never thought this would exist. Even up until the show happened I didnt think Pegasus would actually play. But they played and they killed it. Best surprise of 2011? Could be. Good news is theyre writing more songs.
These shirts sold out quickly at the show. Nobody probably even knows whats on the shirt. michael_moz picked up a large and never even wore it. What a dick.

Cold World gear for your baby who came feet first

If you were one of the lucky few who braved the scuffle at United Blood last year to get one of the crew necks, you already know these run small. The size medium that dean.parrish is selling seriously looks like something that my 5 year old daughter would fit comfortably into. If that’s a medium, I wold love to see a picture of a small up for comparison. Yikes. Good thing I didn’t fight my way through the crowd, just to get an XL that fit like a medium. I wonder why they ran so small? This was such a good design, and I hope they remake these at some point in real sizes for the rest of us.

Cold World commie shirt

At one point I had over 80 Cold World shirts. I unloaded them about a year and a half ago and i think a bunch of them ended up on here. I dont remember if i had this one or not but i do remember hearing about this while on tour in Europe and that it caused a stink over there. The graphics were lifted out of a book of sketchy Russian prison tattoos. Sure its not the most sensitive shirt, but its also not as bad as that Cold World shirt with the skinhead throwing his arm up. People are touchy sometimes. Final batch of no-other-way shirts are ending today!
