I feel like its been quite a while since weve had a Cold As Life shirt on TTD. Ive said it in the past and Ill say it again. You know youre a hard band when Madball writes a song about you! I never got a chance to see Cold As Life which has always kinda bummed me out. I bet their early gigs in Detroit were scary. Usually we see this shirt printed on a white shirt with no back. x614x has a nice looking grey one up for grabs. I dont know if its more rare or not but that doesnt really matter. As a bonus it has an early 90s screen stars tag as well :)

I wonder if seller twistedtesti has some sort of affiliation with Cold As Life, because he’s had several rare CAL items in varying sizes for sale over the last month or so. Just last week he sold 2 of the hoodie below; this apparently is the last one he’s got, and to be honest, I was sort of hoping the price stays near what the second of what those two went for so I could go for it, but then I saw that this was another XXL and got sad face.

Ending shortly are these two versions of the same Cold As Life shirts. Both are for sale by twistedtesti who I assume was a member of the band. The white one is a Large and the red one is a XXL for the big dogs. Both are unworn and are going for cheap at the time of my writing.

Whenever I think of Cold As Life, I get that Madball lyric stuck in my head. It’s weird. I don’t think of Cold As Life lyrics, just the Madball lyric. Harder Than You! This band was a real pre-cursor to modern day HARD hardcore bands. It’s crazy to think Cold As Life started in 1988. So crazy. Not the least bit Youth Crew. I guess Detroit just doesn’t roll like that.
