Normally, I don’t have much to say about Christian Hardcore, but this involves a relevant story from a Sound And Fury post-gig dinner session. It’s appropriate. So this giant crew rolled up to IHOP around 10pm. Probably 9-12 people. Lots of my favorite people ever. Dan, Gibson, Joey, Nicole, Bacon, Megan, Sean, … Great people. And then there were these 3 other dudes I had never seen in my life. Like, literally, had no idea who they were. Wasn’t sure if we ran into them in the parking lot or if they came with another carload. Just didn’t know them. And at one point, Nicole was talking about her french bulldog, and one of the dudes started talking about puppy breath. Seriously. He was stoked on puppy breath, and was trying to figure out if it could be bottled. I wasn’t aware this was “a thing” but apparently it is. He discussed it for quite a bit and then finally, I learned he was a member of Advent, and previously, he had been in Beloved. There you go!
